Karen, I forgot to tell you this yesterday but there is a (very) short story that is set between Slow Heat and Alpha Heat. It's called Slow Change and can be read here

And for your BR it seems that tissues are needed, lol! Seems like you are both enjoying this book, too. It makes me want to start the series but I'm trying to stay strong and wait for the last book of the series :)
