Morning! :)I hope you had a good night, so you are ready for more Nic & Cam?! :)
I managed to check Imperial Stout for the phone calls and after a search for 'phone' I found two scenes where Nic got calls from an unknown caller, but this person only hung up on him every time. No threats etc. The first time when he got a call, one of the goons attacked him, so that's why he thought the call would be related to Vaughn. Second time nothing happened, though.
I honestly don't remember if there have been more, but I thought 'phone' would be the best bet to find something...
I'll leave the book on my Kindle, so I can check if there's more we don't remember. :)

Nope I think that was all there was. I didn't think anything had been said but I wasn't 100% sure. I think there might be more to the phone calls than simply Vaughn but hopefully we'll find out more as we keep going in this story. I'll be back and ready to go at 11. See you then.

I was just thinking the same thing, it would have been different if he hadn't been specifically tasked with picking her up but his mom told him, he had to get her. It's still not his fault but I couldn't imagine not having guilt eat me alive if I was him. At best he contributed to the circumstances that led to her being taken on that particular day but I think she would have disappeared no matter what just maybe a different place and time.

Yeah, with all the missing girls (and considering Cam's mom's lists there were quite a few) it sounds like their kidnapping/taking was on purpose and probably planned for a long time. :(

I found it interesting about 5 thousand a month being paid to someone starting right around the same times as Nic's phone calls started.
