I think that yes. I say in other comment that this story reminded powerfuly to the chivary novels especially Sir Gawain and the Green Knight, because the carácter grows, and matures overall thanks to Vicky, and thanks to the defeat.
I like the ending -- it was very clever of you, Manuel, to find a way for Gonzalo and Vicky both to attain the object of their quest AND to survive it. And I like the way having done so cements their relationship, suggesting that they will share many more adventures (hopefully not so dangerous) in the years to come.

Absolutely. I loved the story and used it as a jumping off point into other works of yours available in English. I loved the story and the whole series.
