I have been waylaid by a rather intense transaction that has involved very long days continuously for the last few weeks. We are almost finished and I will be picking up the book and starting it, probably tonight.
This is exactly the kind of book I liked when I was a kid and, as it turns out, the kind I still enjoy. [***SPOILER ALERT***] I loved the riddles Gonzalo had to solve BUT I have a question about the second riddle. I read the Spanish edition, and the solution of the second riddle turns on the matter of the gender of words (which, of course, we don't have in English). SO . . .Can someone quote the second riddle (in English) and tell me what details help Gonzalo solve it in the English translation? I'm dying to know.
Lisa: if you mean the one at the beginning of Chapter 17:The second enigma was also a riddle and said the following:
You can’t see the First.
You don’t have the Second.
You can’t find the Third.
But if you go to the Third,
You’ll see, you’ll have, you’ll find it.
Is so I will share the clues he used. Want to make sure I have the correct one.

Sorry for not having answered this question here. I had given an answer in the topic about translation.
