Hi Courtney! Welcome to the group.
Not a silly question at all but let me ask a clarifying one before I respond... Do you mean how do you link to one in the message box, like here:
The Glister
Or in a post that you create specifically for that book?

On the top of the comment box near the right there's a blue link that says "add book/author". If you click that link you can search for the book or author that you want, and it will add it to your post. You can hit "preview" at the bottom, right beside the "post" button, that will let you see how your post will appear if you're worried about getting it wrong. But don't worry about it- someone can post the link if you can't figure it out. Goodreads is pretty friendly :-)
Courtney ... as Jen noted aboveJust above the comment box where you are typing your message you'll see add book/author ... click on that link and a box will open. Type in the title of the book and then choose the correct book from the options given. Just click "ADD"
Default is for the link/title, but at the bottom of that pop-up box you can choose cover instead
Jane Eyre or
Weird my comment box only has “Cancel” on the left top and “Post” on the right top and that’s it oh well thanks everyone I appreciate the help! Maybe it only works on an actual computer or something (I’m on my phone)

This is Courtney from Indiana and I love books. Especially True Crime, Historical, and Nonfiction.
I just finished I'll Be Gone in the Dark: One Woman's Obsessive Search for the Golden State Killer by Michelle McNamara.
I recently joined this book club and this may be a silly question but I am curious how you are able to include a link to the recommended or discussed book in your posts?
Thanks and nice to meet everyone!
