I just finished a longish 486 pg. book by Laura Kinsale 'The Shadow and The Star.' Unabashed LK fan here. I'd been wanting to read this for a couple years or more based on a recommendation. I haven't read any of her works I wouldn't give 5 stars to, and many I wish I could give far more. I'm now in serious book withdrawal. I don't know where to start. I'm not asking for help here for that, I could just throw a dart at my TBR, blindfolded, and come up with something great, I'm sure. I just wanted to share.
