MrsJoseph *grouchy* (mrsjoseph) | 535 comments I decided to create a thread for this so that Staff is aware and can see the amazon_kcw import issue.

This copy of The Minority Report has a description that is obviously from a third party seller describing the condition of a single copy that they are trying to sell.

It *looks* like there has been two Amazon imports: one from amazon_sable which pulled in this third party description and another from amazon_kcw.

The amazon update also wrote over a good description that came directly from Ingram.

I thought that the descriptions from 3rd party sellers were no longer being imported from Amazon?

Lobstergirl Amazon_kcw is shit.

I just shelved a book with this description:

2002 NEW YORK REVIEW BOOKS SOFTCOVER

The description it replaced:

Storytelling as a fundamental human impulse, one that announces itself at the moment, hidden in infancy, that dreams begin—this is what the poet and critic Randall Jarrell set out to illuminate in this extraordinary book. Here Jarrell presents ballads, parables, anecdotes, and legends along with some of the finest work of Chekhov, Babel, Elizabeth Bowen, Isak Dinesen, Kafka, Peter Taylor, and Katherine Anne Porter. This wonderful anthology, with its celebrated introductory essay, enlarges and deepens our perception of the storyteller's art and its central place in the world of our feelings.
