ABANDONED. Modern romance with attacking duck

I read this book about 2 years ago. I believe it's I'm a series. Here are the main points I remember

Widow with 2 kids
Lives in a deplited house
Has a duck that keeps escaping and attacking the male love interest.
Male love interest moves in across a field from woman.
Widow lives with her dad that has I believe hearing problems.

I believe the widow cooks and in the series they a old bar they convert into a restaurant
