Ch 41 (80%) - (view spoiler)[ WTF? Of course, the 11-year-old plays right into the demonic plans, because she is 11! Yet, if he had just been upfront with her from the beginning, none of this would have happened. And what does Ava mean that he is meant to be with Rebecca - she's barely been in the plot for the last couple hundred pages. (hide spoiler)]

Ch 12 (26%) - (view spoiler)[ Ugh, this crap between Aiden and Kara and Rebecca is getting old. I really don't understand what he sees in Kara to begin with. Yes, she is broken and he likes to fix things, but she really isn't that nice of a person. Is it the remnant of her curse that is driving him and he just doesn't realize it? I don't like her. Ch 24 (50%) - (view spoiler)[ WTF was that? She was born to have lots of babies but her womb is empty? Isn't she like 16? I'm so confused right now. (hide spoiler)]
Ch 36 (70%) - (view spoiler)[ I feel so bad for Rebecca, she shouldn't have to fell so rejected. I hope Connor gets his head out of his ass and makes her feel better. Or I hope she just runs away from all of them. I have a feeling Aiden is going to need her "power" at some point, and I'd like to see him groveling at her feet sometime in the future. (hide spoiler)]
Ch 45 (94%) - (view spoiler)[ See!! Rebecca is just all around a better person. Aiden doesn't freaking deserve her! I just hope that whatever is wrong with Rebecca isn't too horrible now that a chunk of her soul was ripped out. (hide spoiler)]

I like hearing from Rebecca's POV in this story, especially since I think Aiden is a tool. She saved the story for me.

OK, I honestly didn't think I wanted to continue the series, but I just read the synopsis of book 3 and am intrigued because Rebecca has powers. Hopefully, we will get her POV again so I'm not so annoyed with Aiden. (hide spoiler)]

Chapter 5: (view spoiler)[ I have a lot of questions. Nothing has been really set up yet. Aidan can see demons and has to protect his sister at all costs. There was a weird almost gang rape scenario with some random girl that felt weirdly out of place so I'm wondering if she'll ever come back into this picture. (hide spoiler)]

Chapter 24 :(view spoiler)[ This is interesting... There's definitely that whole insta connection going on with both Rebecca and Kara and I'm sensing a love triangle thing here. I also wish the author would just let everything out. There's a lot of "I wish I could tell people what happened..." Well then just do it!! But now Rebecca's coming to the house so this should go over well (hide spoiler)]

Was a little shocked that Sid was one as well. Still don't really like Kara and there is much Insta love with Rebecca (hide spoiler)]

Finished: (view spoiler)[ Ummm.... I'm not sure how I feel about this one. I didn't really connect with any of the characters so it was really hard to relate to them or even root for them. And it was very biblical which I wasn't expecting. Aiden failed to save his sister and now she's in some weird magical coma. But his powers awakened - without having sex like Sid kept trying to make him do. IDK, this was a weird one (hide spoiler)]
