SOLVED. Contemporary romance: hero recently released from jail for the death of his infant [s]

I read this about 10 years ago. Female author. Possibly a harlequin.
Heroine moves to small town with her baby boy (father not in picture. Deceased, maybe?) and buys a big rundown house to fix up and run a bed and breakfast out of. She’s doing most of the work herself. She meets hero and offers him room and board in exchange for being her handyman and helping restore the place.
People in town ostracized hero and warn her away from him saying he was in jail for killing his own baby. She has hard time believing he was capable of that. Hero actually was terrified of being anywhere near her child and avoided him.
