Definitely character driven. I find myself unable to really dive deeper into the books if i didnt get obsessed with any one of the characters.

I love character driven books. I'll follow a character I love to the ends of the Earth, and even through a bad story. However I was surprised at everyone saying how good these characters are. I didn't feel that at all.
Definitely character driven, totally agree with Aurora. If I'm in love with a character I will devour that book whole 😊
Character driven, if your characters are weak then your plot will be weak, you won't get why they do the things they do and the plot will seem pointless...

I much prefer character driven books. I read to understand myself and the world, and through plot driven books, it is just not the same. To really relate to a plot driven book, it has to be connected to your circumstances in some way, and often that just doesn't happen. Having the characters grow into better or even worse versions of themselves makes a deeper impact on personal values, and you take pieces of them that you want to see and apply them to yourself. On a level that's not so personal, plot driven books don't tend to evoke the same emotions. When a character's life is in danger, and that character has been thoroughly developed it is much more intense a feeling.
