Psst....4 books...

I've got Slow Heat and Alpha Heat to listen to for review and because...Michael Ferraiuolo...he's one of those must listen to's for me...willpower I has none!

Yeah well, I might pass on this series since my relationship with Mary Calmes is not the best *lol*, but you are right, there are lots of other audiobooks narrated by him for me to dive into. :)

Probably best if you're not an MC fan because this one is totally over the top MC and I won't lie it's not one of my favorites but I do enjoy it and it totally works for me right now because I love to listen to audio books while I'm writing reviews but sometimes I zone out and really have to focus on the review so if I've already listened to a story and zone out I don't feel like I've really missed anything but I still get to enjoy a story without adding to 'reviews to write' list.

Lucky you! :) I can't concentrate on reviews when there's any noise in the background. LOL. We have the radio turned on at work and when I'm writing a review, I'd turn it off. Of course I won't tell my colleague the reason why. LOL.

Lol, I can't focus if there's total quiet if I had my way I'd have an audio book that I've listened playing without the use of headphones but hubby has his limits. The only time it distracts me is if it's an audio book that I haven't heard before then I tend to focus on the audio and my review goes down the drain. Even if I've read the book but not listened to the audio I'm sunk and MC narrated by Tristan James, Sean Crisden or Greg Tremblay of course is usually my drug of choice but Amy Lane or Rhys Ford works well too.

LOL. I need my peace and quiet. ;-) I can't even fall asleep with the TV on. LOL. I always tend to listen. ;-)

I get that...maybe, it's because I grew up in a large family that lived in a small house so there wasn't ever really any quiet so I think we all just became conditioned to sleep with noise. I've honestly never been able to go to sleep if there's dead quiet. When I lived on my own I'd frequently got to sleep with the radio on.

Yeah, that's entirely possible. :) Funnily enough, I can work with the radio on. I wonder what that says about me and my priorities. LOL.

Nope, I think it's just easier to tune out the radio when we need to because it's not a continuous thing like an audio book or a television program. It's songs and short news broadcast...so if you tune it out you're not losing a part of a bigger (longer) thing as you would be with a book/show/movie. That's my theory and I'm sticking to it ;)

And I would totally buy it. LOL.
I haven't listened to the series yet but I have all three books :)
Enjoy!
I'm switching back and forth between Bear, Otter, and the Kid and Slow Heat, lol! I started listening to Slow Heat but then I was craving more TJ and I started listening to BOATK.
I'm off to bed now, too. Have a good evening, Karen :)
