Karen Hi everyone. I haven't been around much today because I start working on my truck quilt, wallhanging thingy and damn, I need to get an new charger for my camera seriously I got the pieces all cut for the truck and placed onto the backing and damn, I'm really, really liking it and I so want to share it with you all. I promise I figure it out so I can show you all what I've got done. I totally surprised myself with how cool it's turned out. Anyways, I'm going to be dedicating the next two or three days to reviews and laundry...seriously how exciting is that... :-/

I have to do reviews for...
The Bones Beneath My Skin by T.J. Klune A Deeper Blue (Rules of Possession, #2) by S.E. Harmon Hotline (Murmur Inc., #1) by Quinn Anderson & Action (Murmur Inc., #2) by Quinn Anderson go me! Ok I'm off to do more things and I'll chat with you all tomorrow hopefully before you're all sound asleep in bed...*sweet dreams* my lovely friends.

Yep, same here, and work was busy as hell for me too, so I had to use my lunch break to write something short. Yes, Christelle, it short! LOL.
I hate the first day at work!!!! LOL. It's so hard getting into it. :( Hope today will be better for you, Josy! <3

You so do need to get a new charger! I want to see pictures!!!! LOL.
I have all Reviews out of the way - hallelujah! - and can just enjoy my reading time with Hiding the Moon (Fish Out of Water, #4/Racing for the Sun, #2) by Amy Lane . I'm still only at 7% or so, and I hope I can finish it before we start with Craft Brew (Trouble Brewing, #2) by Layla Reyne on Friday, but Thursday is a holiday for me, so I hope I get the last reading done then. :)
Ugh, enjoy doing laundry and writing reviews, then. :(

Good morning, Karen :)
I'm waiting (im)patiently until you can take some pictures, lol! I'd really love to see them if you want to share and I'm happy that you are satisfied with your progress so far :)

How did you like A Deeper Blue (Rules of Possession, #2) by S.E. Harmon ? I'm a bit hesitant to read this one because I'm afraid the author will mess with Kelly and Blue although I was wishing for a bit more by the end of book 1.

Good luck with your reviews, laundry, and whatever else needs to be done :)

Thanks :)
Yes, the first day back at work is always crazy busy no matter how long I've been away. Let's keep our fingers crossed that today will be more relaxed and I hope your day will be calm as well. Thankfully, tomorrow is a public holiday so it's just a short week for me to get through :)

Yeah, seems like it's not the crazy Circus it was yesterday, but I don't want to jinx it. LOL. I have to wait for Thursday to get my holiday *lol*, but I'm so looking forward to it. :)

Can you take Friday off to have a long weekend?

True! LOL. But I don't think so and I might need to take November 16th off for the annual Dog&Horse Show in Dortmund. :)

Oh you have no idea, I so want to share. I'm biased but I think my truck is totes adorable and I'm so pleased with it. I have another camera around here somewhere and I'm pretty sure it uses sim cards so I can transfer the pics to my computer I just need to find it.

I liked 'A Deeper Blue' but I do have to admit at times I found it to be a little bit slow but it never got close to the point of me wanting to give up and I thought there was more good than bad to be honest plus the ending was good...definitely worthwhile. I'm procrastinating between 3.5 rounded up or just a straight out 4 stars. I'll figure it out by the time I get the review done.

I try to go every year. :) Dogs take on the bigger part of the show, but they combine some shows, so there are demonstrations with horses and dogs and that's awesome! :) And you can buy things. All the things. LOL.

I still have to get to book #1. :) Did you read it or listen to it? I just saw a review of a friend this morning who wasn't thrilled with both, story and narration...

Thank you, Karen :) I have it on my audible wishlist for now and I am going to wait and see who the narrator(s) will be. But I'm definitely more relaxed now about reading/listening to this book :)

I'm hoping the narrator for book 2 will be Sean Crisden again as well. I like him and I thought he did a fine job on the first book.

Yes, I like him too! But Alexander C. (I don't know his full name right now) was really good, too. I thought they both did a really good job with this book.

By the way, I've heard that Dreamspinner no longer uses Sean Crisden because they consider him too expensive :/

It's Alexander Cendese. He's the guy who narrates the All for the Game series. :)

Well damn that sucks because I liked both of them as well. I'm pretty sure that Alexander Cendese was the voice of Kelly and Sean Crisden was Blue not sure who did what on any other voices, but I would have really liked it if they were both doing the next book.

Yes, I know :) I just couldn't remember how his name is spelled and I was on my phone and too lazy to look it up, lol!

edit: Speaking of the All for the Game series. My calendar told me that the second book was supposed to come out today. But I haven't checked yet.

Maybe (hopefully) they will. The first book came out just a few months ago and I don't know how current the information is.
It would really suck if they changed the voice(s) now. Maybe they consider him affordable when he's only narrating half of the book?? We should petition to Andrew Grey, lol! I think he's in charge of Dreamspinner's audiobook production.

Honestly I haven't seen anything in regards to this but with me that's not news. I tend to miss so much stuff on the internet unless I get smacked in the face with it or one of my friends mentions it...thank heavens for friends! I'll leave petitioning Mr. Grey up to you because you've met him right? So maybe you're voice would be more influential ;)

If Simone and Christelle help me to remember, I might ask him about it next year in Amsterdam :) We sat together for breakfast one day this year, lol! I could have asked him then :)

I think (view spoiler)

Karen That's unfortunate I know he narrated all but one of the books from BO&tK and honestly I really like listening to him...oh, well I guess it is what it is. He's still doing things for other companies, like Carina Press and who knows DSP may change their mind about things. But in the meantime, I have a lot of his backlist on audio to fill the void.

Me too but I really wanted to listen to it and since it was only one book I just pulled on my big girl panties and got 'er done. Charlie David did book 2 and he was ok, but for me the Sean Crisden books were far more enjoyable.

Yeah, I liked him in the sample of book #1 and after listening to NR Walker's Turning Point series I was totally hooked on him. Only to get sidetracked later. LOL. But Greg was the one who sidetracked me, so I have a good excuse. ;-)

He's actually got a lot of audio books that are more mainstream to his credit. I'd venture to say that half or more of what he does isn't M/M.

Karen I thought about listening to Into This River I Drown by T.J. Klune but I decided I needed something a little cheerier. So Mary Calmes and 'Timing' here I come because guess what it's narrated by Sean Crisden and as I recall the first 2 books...especially the first book...ladies he's not so great and by the time I get to the third book it's like I got a whole different narrator but honestly in the first book he just gives me the giggle...the schoolgirl giggles.

Ok, sweet dreams and Simone, hopefully that storm will pass through quickly. *hugs to all*
