She was uncertain and he manipulated her into believing she was used. She didn't deserve this. She liked to bake pies for her grandchildren! I don't believe she chose this.
Please, Karen, me chapter 18 will be better! Pretty please???? Starting it now.

The ending... It leaves me a bit unsettled. I'm not sure yet if I like it 100%. But it was an awesome book. Totally different from what I expected but good anyway :)

Well yes, but I also find it to be a terrible reminder...well written mind you but still a terrible reminder of the arrogance of mankind to think that we are the only life form capable of emotions or that even exist...such arrogance.
This one's 5 stars for me without a doubt and definitely going on my best of 2018 list...damn TJ and his wookie tears anyways.

I agree, the epilogue took me a bit by surprise, although I won't say that it unsettled me.

I don't think you're alone on any of this. Right now for me this book defies explanation and I really, really want to write a review for this one. I know I haven't done reviews lately for our buddy read books and I hope to go back and change that but it's just been a little way to get a break for myself but this one so needs a review it just may not happen for a day or two.
Thank you both for reading this with me. If ever there was a book that should be read with a friend or two it's this one.

Yes, it was a perfect BR book and I'm really glad we managed to finish it today in a reasonable time, lol! I'm not sure I could have waited until tomorrow and as I predicted, it would have been almost impossible to stop reading during the last 15 to 20%.

Don't laugh! LOL. I tried to write something, but I have absolutely no idea what and it's too hectic at work to concentrate. LOL. I definitely won't do a summary of the book, that would be too spoilerish, so I guess it will be short. ;-)

Lol, TJ needs no help from me when it comes to breaking people and yes, it was the second mention of 'the little boy' that made me retract my theory because for some reason in my mind the first time I read little boy and my brain locked in 'little girl'.
