Hi! I would love to help you with your novel! I am an experienced beta-reader. You can visit my website at: https://www.fiverr.com/saranoel48
I can work with you on price, considering the word count is higher.
From my understanding, soft magic usually involves a system of rules or understandings.
Most of my experience with fantasy novels is within the YA genre. I especially enjoyed the book Tithe.
Hi J, I sent you a message. If you'd like to learn more about me, you can visit my website: https://goodtalesediting.com/Thanks!

I'm looking for a few betas for a novel I've been working on (135k). It's high fantasy and I'm looking for someone who can appropriately pick apart inconsistencies with how the world I'm trying to build operates along with general reactions to the overall story and characters.
I am a first time writer, so keep that in mind when you are considering the level of challenge you want to take on :)
If you are interested, please send a private message to me with the following:
-Your rate
-Fantasy novels/authors you've enjoyed in the past (this is important for me to be able to determine a good match)
-Your understanding of soft vs. hard magic systems
I am not looking for a professional editor or manuscript review (although I am aware I will need them once I get things in place), I really want the average reader's reaction to the story to see if elements are landing where I want them or even if I'm able to keep engagement.
