Contrarius | 9 comments There are two lists with the same purpose -- listing and voting on Hugo-eligible novels for 2019.

Hugo 2019 Eligible Novels
2019 Hugo Awards Best Novel

Obviously, this duplicates effort and dilutes effectiveness.

I have permission from the creator of the second list to delete his duplicate list.

Is that something a super would do, and if so, would one please do it?

Olivia (livka) | 7926 comments I think that only creator of the list can remove it.
Librarians definitely can't.

He'd be happy to do it, but I don't see a way for him to actually delete the whole page. I can delete the books and the description at the top, but won't that just leave an empty page with the same URL staring at us?

Olivia (livka) | 7926 comments I can see 'delete this list' button at the bottom of the list edit page on my lists, but maybe that's because I'm the only one who voted on them.

Correct. The list creator can only delete a list that no one else has voted on. Any other lists would have to be handled via the Contact Us link.

Contrarius | 9 comments Thanks. I’ll ask him to do that! We’ll probably go ahead and delete the info that is currently on the list’s page, because people are already getting confused between the two lists — then I’ll ask him to send a “contact us” message about the page itself.
