Emily | 17610 comments I was making new ACEs for this author, L.K. Hill, when I noticed that her new editions of the same books are being rebranded with the pen name K.L. Conger. Would K.L. Conger go in the second author field leaving her Goodreads author name L.K. Hill as the primary author? If the editions are already combined through ACEs, does it matter that K.L. Conger would be in the primary author spot? I have read the librarian manual but would like to clarify the procedure for the author fields. Thanks.

lethe | 16359 comments The primary author should be:
1) the same on all editions of a book
2) the name the book was first published under

The later name should be added as secondary author to the editions with that name on the cover, and may be added as secondary author to previous editions (usually upon author request).
