If you went on a 12 hour trip, would you take your phone or a book?

I don't have a phone, and I've been on a 36 hour trip. I took my kindle. Which has several books. So basically, book.

Well, I would probably take a phone. (I don't currently have one...) I get car sick when I read, so I have that up years ago.
