Hi Jamie, and I so love hearing TDM still had you thinking about the story after you turned the last page. There's pretty much no better thing you can say to an author, so thank you. :) As for a sequel, I have no plans at present but you're right - there's a lot of story meat still there to dig through. Like if Sammy and Ethan were put in a situation later in life where they had to work together, for example, where they needed each other to survive... That would make a great story, don't you think?
1) Josh scared me. Do you really think he would have killed Sammy on that white water rafting trip? I’d like to think his conscience would stop him being SAMMY IS HIS NEPHEW and all, but I don’t know. He was so jealous. Who knows?
2) Do you think when Sammy recognized Charlie at the camp he understood that he was meant to be taken instead of Ethan? I’d think a second grader would be too young to understand that, but Sammy always seemed older/more mature to me.
I feel like we need a sequel just to see how their futures would play out. I don’t know. I have never had a book leave me feeling so unsettled before. In no way, shape or form is that a complaint. I just thin it leaves room for an amazing sequel. Or maybe, include these characters in future books somehow, just to see that they are all okay.
