Leni Iversen (leniverse) | 1285 comments Wow, that looks like a longtime project for sure! I've bookmarked the page. Many of them are already on my TBR, or I have already read them, but there are books there that I'm not familiar with at all.

This looks great, I might try this one (will start listening to the podcast for sure)

I'm glad to hear that, Julie. I look forward to seeing what you pick for the challenge. Some suggestions for each topic can be found here: https://www.goodreads.com/topic/group...

That sounds really cool!

I just figured out that I have read 33/100 on the list, so that’s exciting and makes this challenge easier to take on. As a bonus, I also realized that many of the ones I haven’t read have never been read by this group. I am looking forward to nominating some of them every month!

Lois Young (misty306) | 4 comments My reading goal is 100 books that I plan to track on Goodreads! I don't always list what I'm reading, so I plan on displaying all of the books (of all genres) that I read, including ARCs!

I have read 31 of them. Or 32 if I can count Grimm's fairy tales, but I'm not 100% sure I've read all of them.
The Telegraph has a shorter list of only 30 books. (And some that are not on the 100 list.) I've read 12 of those.

BAM doesn’t answer to her real name I plan on participating in celebrating George Eliot next year. I just love her. And I typically do a ā€œ52 Books in 52 weeksā€ challenge I find every year on Pinterest. Otherwise I’m not doing any other challenges. I’d like to do more buddy reads. I’m also going to finish our group bookshelf and keep up with future choices. My biggest issue actually is writing my reviews. I hate writing my reviews, but I know it’s a necessary evil, especially since I read a ton of Netgalley books. So a huge goal is to be more timely. But I never stick to any formal future reading plan. I’m contrary and read where my mood takes me.

Erin (erinm31) | 565 comments I’ve started planning — well, only thoughts and the beginnings of a list yet — my reading for 2020. šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚ What madness is this? Well, it is easier to pry books off my 2019-to-be-read list if I don’t feel I’m dropping them to be lost in the maelstrom of General TBR... The theme will likely emerge along the lines of tomes-keeping-the-bookshelf-in-place...

I know eh? I don't even have a plan for next year yet! I'm a bit of a procrastinator though :)

siriusedward (elenaraphael) | 2005 comments A-Z is a list I fill up after I read at least some books on my other challenge list ,as it fills up it gives me a sense of achievement..of course ,some letters have never yet been filled..not all together ,at least...

BAM doesn’t answer to her real name If anyone is interested in the 52 topics in 52 weeks Challenge let me know
I’ll be more than happy to post it! A few of us are doing it as a buddy challenge.

Wow, you are organized! I try not to plan too much for the year so that I don’t deny myself if some unplanned book strikes my fancy, but I tend to get carried away anyway! šŸ˜‚

Hehe, thank you! šŸ˜† It’s really just a strategy to focus my planning for 2019 as I want to focus on classics of China and Japan but there are several major western classics that I want to make sure I get to and I know I won’t have time next year. It just somehow makes me feel better to move these to a 2020 TBR list than to just remove them from my 2019 list. šŸ˜…

Darren (dazburns) | 2164 comments Erin - I'm the same - I have a whole series of exclusive shelves that my books need to work their way up through before they get to currently-reading!

also, you can just make any shelf (including your main "Want-to-Read" shelf) sortable and put all the higher priority titles nearer the top
