I want to know what is up with Church the cat. How is he still alive in the present-day during the Mortal Instruments series?? Was this ever explained and I just forgot? Also, the tension between Will and Tessa is so high. It is sad to think that Tessa thinks he hates her, but it is really the opposite. I want to know more about Will's background, and why he thinks that they can't be together. (hide spoiler)]

I love that Magnus is in The Infernal Devices too. It is great having a familiar face in this! I hope he can help Will find out whichever demon he is looking for. Maybe then Will can finally break his curse and admit his true feelings to Tessa (and hopefully reunite with his family)?!

Also, I still think 18 or younger is too young to choose a parabatai. I know the ceremony is only open until one is 18, but how well can you really know someone before they have grown up and become their true self? (hide spoiler)]

Ugh, Nate is awful! How could he do that to his own sister (even though he denies she is his sibling)?! However, Jessamine may be the worst character in the book. She is constantly whining about how she wants to be normal and hates the Shadowhunters. She was even willing to betray those who housed and cared for her for years for Nate and the Mortmain. How can she not see that Nate is just using her to spy for him… (hide spoiler)]

It was about time that Henry showed Charlotte some affection! He often seemed caught up in his own head and his inventions. I felt bad for Charlotte since a lot of people felt that she was only with him because of an arrangement. Although it took Charlotte getting hurt for Henry to finally show his feelings, it is better than nothing!
Also, Will finally finding the demon who cursed him to learn that there was never actually a curse was such a sad but happy moment. He lost years with his family, but now he could be with Tessa! Too bad he is a little late, and she is with Jem… ugh this love triangle is killing me! Anyway, I guess he should be glad that he only wasted five years of his life instead of more. In addition, he never would've met Jem if he had stayed home. (hide spoiler)]

Prologue - I am really curious to find out what happened to Adele. Why did the Rune burn her? Is her illness affecting how it works or is she not a Nephilim?

Chapter 2 - That worm creature that Benedict Lightwood turned into sounds horrific! How could everyone have let the demon pox progress so far? Now Tatiana Lightwood no longer has a husband because her father killed him!

Chapter 6 - It is getting a little old that the Consul doesn't like Charlotte being in charge of the London Institute. So what if she is a woman, she is doing a fine job! Sorry she wasn't obedient to your wishes like the Consul wanted! Ugh move on! (hide spoiler)]

Chapter 8 - Jem is so sweet and his love for Tessa is so pure! I want them to find a cure. However, I have already read the Mortal Instruments so I kind of know what happens.

Chapter 9 - A lot happened in this chapter! Jessamine came back only to die in front of the Institute during the battle. Tessa was kidnapped by Mrs. Black who is apparently still alive. Also, Bridget is apparently a very skilled fighter.

Chapter 12 - This is so exciting! Will has gone off to rescue Tessa and confess his love for her now that Jem gave him his blessing (poor Jem, though. He is such a nice guy! He only wants the best for Will and Tessa even if he has to sacrifice his own happiness). Now if only Tessa and Will can defeat Mortmain! (hide spoiler)]

Chapter 14 - I feel like the connection between parabatai is almost a weakness. If your parabatai dies in battle and you are hit with spasms and pain, wouldn't that put you at a great disadvantage while fighting? It basically ensures you also end up dead or injured??

Chapter 16 - Mortmain's plan for Tessa is even worse than I imagined! That is definitely not a life most would want to live! Ugh!

Chapter 17 - I kind of want Cecily to have more of a role in this book. I am starting to like her character. Also, I am glad that Gabriel didn't send that letter. He seemed like he was changing for the better, but when he had agreed to the Consul's trade, I thought I was wrong. However, if he didn't give the Consul that information about Mortmain and Tessa, then who did? (hide spoiler)]

Chapter 21 - I knew Jem was going to become a Silent Brother due to reading the Mortal Instruments, and I was waiting for that to happen in this book. However, I feel like the book really surprised us with it at the end. There was no warning or anything.
Also, Magnus is the best!

Chapter 22 - I am not sure I understand why Jem all of the sudden decided to join the Silent Brothers? He never spoke of it before, and he seemed okay with the idea of dying. He even prevented his friends from looking for a cure to his illness.

Epilogue - Aww that is a good ending, but also sad. It must be hard being immortal. Will has passed on and yet Tessa is still there and young. That must've also been weird as he aged and she didn't. At least she still has Jem… until he now grows old and dies too :'(. (hide spoiler)]

Oh no, that's 3 books in one week. Not that fast, I'm on the last book. The other books are not available to me.
Though some people read really fast, at least 2 books in one day. I am kinda envious, but if you consider my age, I don't know...
