"Aww thank you darling. I mean am i really a nice guy even if i don't know what exactly have i done?" I asked her and just smiled a little bit at her

"Sorry im flirting with you without even meaning to. I mean i meaned to but i don't want you to get the wrong idea of me." I explained to him.

Cat

I moaned against his lips and i lightly pulled away from him. I cupped his face as i looked at his eyes and i feel my heart race just a little bit. Before my flushed face kind of had me wanting more

"Was that good or bad?"

Candy

I roll my eyes a little. "I didn't think that at all." I tell him and add. "You've been pretty nice about comforting me when I have my mini meltdowns." I tell him.

Derek

"It was... good." I say processing what happened. I really should have done that with here but it felt right. I look at her seeing she was slightly flush. "You okay?" I ask her stroking my thumb along her cheek.

Leo

I looked back at her and smiled just a little bit. "I don't like being cold towards souls especially when they are already going through a lot being new to the world of the dead an all." I explained to her and stopped her from cutting her finger.

"Careful there." I whispered to her.

Cat

I looked at him and i don't know what to tell him. It feels really familiar to be with him. To kiss him again, "I want to kiss you more." I whispered to him.

"Kiss?" I asked him

Candy

He tells me that he doesn't like being cold towards souls. I nod chopping up some onions to put in the broth. I feel his hand wrap around mine stopping me from cutting.

He tells me to be careful and I see I was about to cut my finger. I blush a little. "Thanks." I mumble softly.

Derek

She looks at me and whispers she wants to kiss me more. She asks me and I smile a little and cup the back of her head before I am the one to start kissing her.

Leo

I looked back at her blush and i bite my cheek a bit but i do let out a little sigh when i helped with the rest of the vegetables before i started measuring the seasoning of it all.

"I don't want to put salt in the wound... but was there a guy?" I asked her.

Cat

I looked back at him and just smiled a little when he leans into me and kisses me again. I feel this sense of relief when i go on ahead and kissed him again. i ran my fingers through his hair and brought him closer to me.

i mold my lips with his and slipped my tongue past his lips once more. Tasting him again.

He gets back to work on finishing the rest of the vegetables. I dump the onions in as he asks me about if there was a guy. I chuckle a little thinking about it and shake my head.

"I was too busy with school and my family. Plus my dream to have a boutique and sell my clothes in it. Guess I should have thought. Misses out on everything. First date, first sleep over... first kiss." I say mumbling the last one.

Derek

I run my fingers through her hair as I rest my hand on her lower back and holds her close to me as I kiss her back. This time I engage as well as my tongue brushes hers and I taste her sweetness.

Leo

"Oh. I find that really unfair for you not to experience at least a little crush." i whispered to her and just leaned in and lightly kissed her cheek before i pulled away and started cutting the breast.

"You know... I know that you hate it but... i won't bring it up. Instead i'm going to just make you feel better." I tell her

cat

i looked back at her and just smiled a little bit when he started kissing me much more passionate. I ran my fingers through his hair and brought my body closer to his. It's like he awakens something in me.

Candy

He whispers that is really unfair for me not ever experience at least a little crush. He leans over and kisses my cheek before he goes back to cooking.

I blush a little as he tells me he won't bring it up, instead he is going to just make me feel better. "Okay." I say softly as we work on making the soup together.

Derek

I pull away after a little bit and rest my forehead against hers. I pant softly as I look at her. "We shouldn't. This isn't allow at all. But it feels right." I say softly.

Leo

I cook with her almost silently when i looked back at her and i'm the one blushing a little bit. "I'm not really not a virgin." I whispered to her just revealing that i wasn't that much of a smooth talker.

"I mean i've kissed other girls... well reapers but not really had the luxury of having sex with anyone either." I tell her.

Cat

"Not to mention that i don't really have time..." I whispered to him smiling at him ever so softly when i cupped his face in my hands. "I mean we have to start the other part of the game soon."

I giggle a little as he tells me that he is actually a virgin too. That he has kisses other reaper girls but never gone all the way. "Yet you teased poor Derek over it." I say shaking my head.

I smile a little looking at him. "If you are worried that makes you less smooth in my eyes, it doesn't." I tell him.

Derek

She whispers not to mention she doesn't have the time. That the other part of the game would be soon. "Mmm not for a bit though. I think Leo is distracted doing something with Candy." I tell her since it looks like the bar is empty now.

Leo

"It's always easy to tease the poor guy. We're kind of like friends but he's always been so stright in the rules and all that." I explained to her and just smiled a little when she tells me that i shouldn't be so worried about not looking smooth to her.

"I don't know.. I care the way you see me." I whispered to her looking into her eyes for a bit.

Cat

"Still." I whispered to him when i held his hand and pulled him away from sight again when i bit my lip. I let out a sigh when i cupped his face and pecked his lips softly.

"Live like if my soul depended on it?" I whispered to him my hands wandering down his chest.

He tells me it is easy to tease him because they are friends. He looks at me and whispers he cares about the way I see him. "Well I think you are a really good guy." I tell him softly with a little smile.

Derek

She whispers still and draws me back to her, pecking my lips. She whispers live like her soul depends on it, her hand wandering down my chest. "Sure." I say softly.

I bite my lip a little when he tells me that simple word and i just close my eyes a bit. Before i wrapped my arms around him and i brought him to my lips again. I kissed him like if i needed him. This... spark in me just igniting.

Leo

"I don't know what else we should talk about honestly. I mean i don't want to bring stuff up that might just bring bad memories with you." i explained to her but i really wanted to know more about her. Get to really know her and fall for her...

I mean help her just feel comfortable with me.

Derek

I cup the back of her head again as we kiss and I draw her close to me so she is practically in my lap. I never expected to feel like this about a soul but I felt drawn to her.

Candy

"It's not bad memories." I assure him. "Just things I'm sad to know are gone now." I tell him as I add stuff to the pot. "How about we talk turns asking questions?" I offer.

Leo

"Yeah i know what you're talking about. Okay okay how about you go ahead and start the questions for us." I whispered to her. Leaning in to lightly kissed her cheek

"I really do want to get to know you more." I whispered to her.

Cat

I kissed him some more, just feeling my guard coming down as i cupped his face and deepened the kiss. Until i felt something, i felt images flash in my mind when I am shocked. Seeing a man in white turning something in a machine and i feel my whole body just feel electrocuted.

I jumped up on my feet and my heart is racing right away blocking it.

He tells me he knows what I am talking about and for me to start. He kisses my cheek again and whisper he really does want to get to know me more.

I blush a little, biting my lip. "Umm... so is Leo your real name or just what that told you or something?" I ask curiously since he said he doesn't remember anything from before he got here.

Derek

She jumps up and I see flashes of her memory for a flicker of a second but they make no sense to me. "Are you okay?" I ask her reaching out for her softly to make sure she is okay.

Leo

"Well it's the name that i recall i have," I tell her when i placed the big pot to simmer down a little bit. "You see when i came into this bar the only thing i knew was my name. It was one of those single things that you know." I tell her and just thought about it.

"Back then i had a mentor that showed me the ropes for about ten souls before i was sent out." I tell her.

Cat

I looked back at Derek when he clearly is worried. Whatever i saw he mustve seen but i don't think he flet what i did. "I felt like i was being electrocuted." I whispered to him and just touched my chest. Why is me kissing him and just letting go bringing this now?

Candy

He tells me about how recalled his name when he got here but that was it. Back then he had a mentor that showed him the ropes for several souls before he was turned loose.

Derek

She tells me she felt like she was being electrocuted. "Are you sure?" I ask her softly. That was a strange thing to feel as her memories came back.

I looked at her when she asked me if this was something that bothered me and i just give it a thought. "Not... I don't think so. I mean i never really gave it much thought about it." I tell her truthfully before i looked at the fire.

"I mean hopefully... i did rest in peace or maybe this is me." I tell her.

Cat

"Yeah yeah i am positive, I mean i felt electricity rushing through my body." I said to him just holding my arms a bit not sure if i even wanted to know what the hell was that.

Candy

"I'm sorry. That was probably way deeper then you wanted to get with questions." I say softly as he stares at the fire. I mean who knows. He could be like me but he ended up here instead of sent to be judged.

Derek

I look at her confused. "That is very strange. I have never heard of that happening." I tell her as I rub her arm softly trying to calm her down.

Leo

"No it's fine Candy i don't think it's too much of a deep question. I really do like talking to you." I tell her and just smiled a little bit when i just leaned into the counter.

"You really do seem to worry for me don't you?"

Cat

"I know what i felt and it was definitely that." I tell him and just feel this panic swelling in my chest. I pulled away from him and just went to the wall.

"I need air."

Candy

I blush a little as he smiles and leans into the counter, saying I really do seem to worry for him, don't I. I blush a little looking away a little so he wouldn't see it.

"No, I just wanted to be polite since it was a personal question." I tell him.

Derek

She tells me she knows what she felt and pulls away saying she needed some air. I gently guide her down the hallway to a little indoor garden in the hopes it would help calm her.

Leo

"No i get it. I mean i do understand that you're a curious girl. And it seems really wrong of me to not answer your personal questions when i've asked plenty." I tell her and just closed my eyes in content

"So what kind of person were you?" I asked her.

Cat

I walked with him to the garden and i just tried my best to keep myself as collected as possible. "Now i don't want to remember... if my memories are of me basically being tortured then i'm not going to continue this game." I tell him as i looked at the garden

Candy

He tells me he gets it and asks me about what kind of person I was. I think about it for a moment trying to figure out how to reply.

"I was... the good kind I guess. I loved my mother and little brother dearly. I worked hard to get into college and to help my mother with the bills. I was the safe friend. The one that was always driving everyone home after they partied too hard." I tell him.

Derek

I sigh a little as she says she doesn't want to remember her memories now. "The game will still go on, Catalyna. You must be judged if you stay here your soul will begin to fall apart." I tell her softly.

(Crashing for the night.)

Cat

"No you don't get it Derek! You only saw a glimpse of it. I felt it. That man's cold gaze on me and this pain that literally stopped my heart. I'm not remembering any of it." I tell him just feeling myself tear up, my heart feeling guarded once more.

Leo

"I wish that i could show you more. but honestly i'm just a game host here. I'm not even an angel or a demon. I'm just the in between i guess." I tell her and just smiled a little bit when i reached out to hold her hand.

"If it makes you feel any better... i would've been your crazy friend that has you jumping off a cliff for the thrill of the water.

Derek

I raise my hands in surrender. "I'm sorry. I'm just telling you what will happen if you are unable to move on. I don't want to see that happen to you but at the same time I don't want to bring back unpleasant memories." I tell her softly.

Candy

He tells me he wishes he could share more personal things with me but he is just the game host here. He reaches out to take my hand in his and tells me that he would probably be the crazy friend.

"Eh, I don't know about that. I've got a pretty bad fear of heights." I tell him with a small smile.

I’ll be on in a bit. Got in a huge fight with my sister and mom last night so now we’re grounded

I grinned at her and just shook my head. "Well there's other fun things to help you do, like get your dream tattoo as a prank but only for you to later realize that . it's a temp." I said just smiling and wanting to have a good time with her

I laugh a little and roll my eyes. "Really? What if I don't have a dream tattoo?" I ask him leaning on the counter across from him with a little smile.

Leo

"Really? Not even like a butterfly tattoo or an open heart on your ring finger or something like that?" I asked her, really curious as to know what are her inner most desires to accomplish, sure this is the after life kind of but how hard could it be to give a tattoo?

Candy

He asks me if I really didn't have a dream tattoo. I shrug a little. "I mean I guess not. But if I did get one I would want something for my family." I say with a little smile. "I doubt it would matter much now since... well you know."

I look at him. "What about you? What would you get?"

Leo

"Hmm i am not sure now that i think about it." i tell her and just grinned a little bit when i looked at our soup seeing that it was perfectly simmering and the chicken was almost cooked.

"Hmm i don't know maybe something latin, or does that make me real basic?" I asked.

Candy

I chuckle a little as he tells me he would maybe get something latin. He asks if that would make him real basic. "Well it depends on what you chose to get in latin." I tell him with a little smile.

Leo

"Well aren't you really open minded." i winked at her playfully and just go on ahead and closed my eyes just a little bit. "I don't know now that i think about it, i wish that i could know a little bit more outside these walls but it's something that i have accepted you know."

I tell her giving a weak smile

Cat

I looked at him trying to be sympathetic towards me and i could see it in his eyes that he was trying to think of his duty but at the same time it's his job to have me remember of my past.

"I don't know what's the best course for me." i whispered

Candy

He tells me I am really open minded, aren't I. He winks and closes his eyes a little saying he wishes he could know more then just this place. I rest my hand on top of his softly.

"I'm sorry." I say softly looking at him.

Derek

I sigh a little running a hand through my hair. "I wish I could tell you something to help you but I don't know what to do either." I tell her conflicted on what we should do to help her.

"Right because i'm your duty and who cares how we both feel about each other right." I tell him just rolling my eyes when i took a seat on the bench

"i need some time, i'm not ready to get back in the game." I whispered to him putting a wall between us. He didn't care about how we feel, it was about duty

I reach out to touch her but hesitate and drop my hands. "It is my duty but... I also don't want to see you end up lost because you couldn't pass on." I tell her softly.

"Very well. I'll leave you be for a bit." I tell her with a little nod.

I looked back at him when i see that he wanted to touch me and i just have this really really bad feeling deep inside of me. Something happened to me. That coat? i am sure that i saw a stethoscope and definitely a badge

"Even if there's a chance you won't see me again?"

Derek

I sigh a little. "I'll respect your wishes, Catalyna. If you wish for me to leave then I will but don't think that I will be happy about it." I tell her softly. "I want to help you. I really do but I don't know how."

Cat

I bite my lip seeing that he was struggling with his duty and what he was feeling for me, and part of me couldn't stop myself. I wanted to be with him... even if it's for one last time. or the first time.

If i really do have haunting memories than i can't say good bye to a good one. I wrap my arms around him and brought his lips to me again

"No it's fine i mean... i think you either have to have this objective approach to the job. Or you have to have some humor in it or else it's difficult to survive it." I explained to her and just reached out to hold her hand.

She bites her lip and wraps her arms around me. She draws me to her and kisses me again. I reach up to cup her face softly and kiss her back, holding her close to me.

Candy

I looked back at her when she tells me that it must be hard for me and i just give her a little smile. I leaned in and kissed her lips ever so softly.

Cat

I mold my lips with his as i ran my fingers through his hair and just kissed him. "I really... want you..." i whispered against his lips. Only once... that way i can leave him with a good memory.

He smiles a little and leans in, kissing me softly. I gasp a little at the suddenness of it, plus it was my first kiss. He whispers thank you for my worry.

"No problem." I whisper softly blushing bright red as I look away. I could smell the soup was just about ready. I pull away to tend to it.

It takes me a second to process what she meant and I blush a little. "I've never... you know." I whisper softly. "I might not be all that great at it."

I see her blushing just a little bit when i leaned in and kissed her cheek softly. "I am really really sorry. I forgot that it was your first kiss and i can assure you that i hope i wasn't horrible." I whispered to her.

Cat

I nod at him when i cupped his face and lightly let my fingers just touch the smooth texture. "I know... but that's the thing... I don't know what i'll be doing too. But i think we can find a way for our parts to fit." I teased him

Candy

He kisses my cheek and apologizes for kissing me. He forgot that it was my first kiss. "It's alright." I say softly. "It wasn't terrible." I add with a soft blush.

Derek

She nods and cups my face saying she doesn't know what she'll be doing either. I chuckle a little and lift her up gently, wrapping her legs around my waist before I carry her back to my room.

Leo

"Well it wasn't terrible because i didn't try hard enough." I tell her realizing what i said before i blushed myself. I clear my throat and i go on ahead and help with serving us some of the chicken soup.

Cat

I gasp a little and hold on tighter so he didn't had me fall or anything. I was surprised when we turned from the garden to his own room and i'm curious.

"You have your own room?" I asked him not realizing they must sleep and stuff.

Candy

We both blush a little over his comment. He clears his throat and goes on to serve us up some soup. I take the bowl with a little smile.

"It smells kind of like my mom's homemade soup. She would make it whenever we got sick. Said it was the magic cure to feel better so we had to eat it all." I say and set it down to fan my face a little as my eyes tear up.

"Sorry I promise I wasn't a cry baby when I was alive."

Derek

"Yes, we both do." I tell her. "We do sleep from time to time." I add as I open the bed and head inside. It wasn't anything special. A bed, a nightstand and a desk with a chair.

Leo

I looked back at her when i realized that she's sinking into something that was a memory rush. She was mourning and i realized the longer she was kept outside of her roll.

That she missed her past life. "No it would be ludicrous of me to tell you not to feel." i whispered to her rubbing her back a bit.

Cat

"Ah. Good to know." I whispered to him smiling a little when i turned around and cupped his face in my hands. I leaned in and kissed him once more, Just feeling more relaxed and more composed as i kept him closer to me

Candy

He whispers no it would be ludicrous for him to tell me not to feel. He rubs my back softly and I sniffle a little with a nod. "I miss her. I miss my brother." I whisper softly wiping my eyes a few tears roll down.

Derek

She whispers good to know and smiles a little. She cups my face in her hands and kisses me again. I kiss her back softly laying her down on the bed with me as I kiss her back.
