If it's something small, then I don't see it as a problem. The most strict restriction in powers, for anyone, is that it is not a guaranteed success. Far from it. It's not meant to be used as a trump card that overpowers other characters in order to win at all costs. So, if she were to use her shadow magic to aide in escape, she wouldn't just completely disappear and be gone and unfindable. There's still a chance she'd be detected or noticed.

Well of course, for instance if she bumps into someone, she'll be found out. Though I will add consequences for using abilities later on today or tomorrow when I get the chance.

Telepathy through shadow magic, for instance, is just sort of blowing things out of proportion. The main issue that a few people have with your characters is that they don't have much sense of authority, and they seem to appear as if they don't have respect for anyone, even those of royalty, or the Commander of the guard. It frustrates people, and it creates a sour atmosphere.

That isn't what we want for our group, so that's the main reason why your characters' powers were revoked. It could very well get them killed. So, I'm not saying that your characters have their powers back yet as long as you regulate them. You are still being punished, but if you learn how to properly balance power and obedience based on which characters are interacting, you can get them back potentially.

Seems to have a Hero persona, much as Mulan took her fathers place to fight against the Huns, it seems Lancer picked up her twin brothers role as a protecter. Mulan is both Ping and herself, but when acting as a solider goes by her masculine name she chose in order not to her caught. Though in this case Lancer is her "Ping" so to say but she also acts as a bard with the alias of Yellow Dancer in order to still be herself.

She always carries her twin ebony-hilted, silver bladed swords with her, as well as has multiple knives strapped to her thighs and hips.

{History}:Nisha's mother is someone she doesn't really think about too much, she doesn't have a face to assign her to, just a name; Evelina. Her father, Gawain, utterly refuses to talk about her, and if Nisha mentions her, he tends to start drinking, which never ends well. Gawain was a guard in the King's army but he always dreamed of being a commander. Nisha's first five years were a bit difficult without a mother and with an addicted father, but she felt loved. She had fun and her Gawain took her to all sorts of festivals. The day after her sixth birthday, everything changed. Gawain had been covering himself up in being a good father, but he decided it was time to train. His thinking went as follows 'if I couldn't be the commander, I'll have Nisha do it'. That very same day he started to train her, and they trained hard. She got pretty good at all sorts of weaponry, bow and arrow, dagger, scythe, but her favorite was the sword. Now there were the two old and rusty twin swords her father kept in the back of his room, under his bed. He let nobody touch them and pretended they didn't exist, but Nisha wanted them badly. During this time, she would spend the few hours of the day when she wasn't training or sleeping at her neighbors house. Lachlan was her neighbor, an older man who was a retired assassin who worked for the king. She would go over there and listen to his stories and over time, he was more of a father figure than Gawain ever was. He would sometimes teach her new things with the small sword Gawain let her carry. Late one evening, she stole Gawain's twin swords and ran over to Lachlan's house, begging him to teach her. For years Lachlan tought her everything he knew about the swords. Nisha loved everything about them. She liked having two, she liked how they felt in her hands, she liked the way they sliced through the air. But she couldn't hide this forever. Gawain eventually found out and banned her from going over there. He watched her like a hawk and increased her training for a long time, until it was time for her to inlist. Around the same time, Lachlan was dying. The day she was supposed to be accepted into the royal guard, she escaped Gawain and went to Lachlan's house. He was on his deathbed when Nisha finally made it to him. She held his hand as he told her to take what was in the chest at the end of his bed after he passed. Lachlan's last words to her were "be the tiger", something he had said frequently while they were training together. When he died and after all the tears had left Nisha's eyes, she opened the chest and found a set of ebony-hilted twin swords in the chest with an 'N' carved into the bottom of the hilt on each. The tears came back again and vowed then and there that she would become an assassin like Lachlan. Soon after, Nisha was not in the royal guard, but was instead an asssassin. The only things she kept with her were the swords, memories of Lachlan and his greying blonde hair, his pale green eyes and his smile with the crinkles at the corner of his mouth. She also kept the memories of Gawain. Somone who was an alcoholic, and an abusive father figure who she spent her late childhood and early teenage years hiding from.

{Personality}:Nisha tends to talk with her eyes. You can tell what she means at a glance, but when she does talk, it's (usually) calculated and straight to the point. She's always watching and has an incredibly fast reaction time so I suggest not sneaking up on her. Nisha usually comes off as intense, and she'll stay that way unless she excepts you as something more, which is rare. Dispite her eerie quiet and somewhat mysterious nature, she's loyal until the end. She serves the crown, no matter who sits on the throne. If there is anything she's learned from her father, it's that. She doesn't pay much heed to the emotions and feelings of those around her, even though she reads them well. She doesn't really pay too much attention to anyone besides the few she cares about, and she gets protective and a bit possessive over them. She never lets on aanything about herself, and has never let anything slip. Nisha is a master of munipulation of her emotions as well as hiding them. When she's focused, she's quite stable. However, she takes a lot of things to heart and accepts them as a personal challenge. She's quite sensitive, as much as she tries to hide it but never is really sad about something, it's really just anger. For Nisha, sadness and anger are the same thing, which leads to an unhealthy balence of emotions.

Dark, well shaped brows frame her thickly-lashed almond shaped eyes that seemingly are grey, however closer inspection reveals the kaleidoscope of colours. They are crystal clear. Unclouded and seemingly always so sure. Penetrating whatever their gaze falls upon, and illuminating from within whenerver presented with a challenge. Her lips are soft and plump, and often turn up to smile.

Siya is often described as exotic and magnetic. As deep as the sea, and, depending on her mood, as calm or as tempestuous. She is extraordinarily intuitive and keenly interested in any esoteric, occult or spiritual experience that offers any deep insight or connection. She is in tune with the fundamental forces of life and nature and often moved by the great tides and events of human experience.

Siya should never be taken lightly. She isn’t flaky, fluffy, or a helpless creatures by any stretch of the imagination. Direct, and brilliantly sharp, she solely focuses on the fundamental essence of any issue, disregarding the superfluous. Clear endings and beginnings, with no grey areas in between. She wants her certainties to remain just so – absolutely rock steady and assured.

She wants to understand everything and knows how to craft just the right question to obtain the answers she seeks. She is greatly intuitive, however also controlling, and sometimes self-destructive, but in all this she has a certain deadly beauty. Fearless and stubborn, even when life gets a little tricky she merely takes it on the chin and perseveres. Siya's family was what you would expect. Her father's side of the family were descendants of the oldest alchemists in Xandra. Naturally, they were bound to the throne and had sworn their lives in allegience to whoever sat upon it. Naturally, Siya was expected to follow in her father's footsteps and become an alchemist serving the king. However, with ten siblings and being the third oldest, there was naturally a fierce sibling rivalry.

Her siblings were strong, physically able to hold their own. Black hair and violet eyes associated with the Ellenstein. Siya was the anomaly. Her delicate frame, pale hair and colourfull eyes were uncharacteristic of a bearer of the Ellenstein name. Rumors spread within their social circles. Infidelity. Adoption, Cursed. All of the above. Though her family loved her deeply, such gossip tainted the family's prestigous image. Siya realised so at the age of five. It made her wise beyond her years. Though, it was more of a curse. Having your childhood taked from you due to something entirely out of your control. So she stayed in her father's office at home. Reading his books. Practising alchemy. Honing her abilities which already were exceptionally advanced for someone her age.

When Siya was 16, her father decided that her capabilities as an alchemist and charisma made her the most suitable to replace him. Having acomplished her personal goal, Siya was at peace for a while, having found bliss. Serenity that was fleeting. The False King ascended to the throne and Siya's father had significant conflict with his colleagues. It was rumoured that they assisted in The False King's plan to dispose of his older brother. Being a moral man, he voiced that it was not right. In Xandra, even walls have ears. A single whisper of herasy is enough to get a man killed. A few days following, there were two knocks at the door. Before they could knock thrice, the door was blasted down and the king's soldiers swarmed their home. Wordlessly, they grabbed Siya's mother and slit her throat. Then her siblings. One after the other. Right in front of her. She could do nothing but watch in horror as her family began to pile on the floor, swimming in a pool of crimson. The head guard turned to her, pointing his sword at her. The blade dyed red with her father's blood. Cold eyes meeting hers, he asked one question in an emotionless, cold voice. "Where does your allegiance lie?". Defeated, she sank to her knees, bowing her head "The throne" she replied, repeating the answer her father taught her as one of her most important moral priciples. Tears continued to flow down her cheeks as she looked up at the blade inches from her face. "The throne".

Putting a rock on her heart, she carried out her vow to the throne and replaced her father. The truly happy, charismatic Siya became hidden behind a mask of a girl seemingly detached. An animated robot, wordlessly carrying out her Master's bidding. Using polite obedience to disguise the eternal wildfire of hatred threatning to consume her. Always repeating her new mantra.

xi. background ; (view spoiler)[at first, its hard to understand why mika switched up & joined the rebels. how could such a sweet girl like her side with them & go against the kingdom? well, it all comes down to the fact that her family had been murdered by the knights. to this day, she still can't quite understand what happened & why it happened. all she can remember is that they were living quite peaceful underneath the ruling of the king, & then one day they came in & murdered everybody but her. but thats only because she was able to escape through her back window, running & never looking back. it broke her heart into a million pieces, so its hard to get how mika is still able to function the way she is.

mika misses her family every single day, which is why she had dedicated her life to taking down the kingdom. now, she's never really believed in violence, but this of course is an exception. mika covers up her pain by acting carefree & sweet around others. when in reality, her main goal is avenge her family's murder so that she can finally move on. her small size & graceful movements is why she was picked for the head spy ranking. Well, the story is actually quite simple. Orphaned kid makes a friend and then gets betrayed, you know, a typical story that's been told a million times and honestly is overused. But, hey, what can you do about it? This was how it happened, and this is how it is. You can't always have this unique story to tell everyone, that's just not how life works I'm afraid. Anyways, on with the story, shall we?

It all began the day he was born. Katashi's parents were both failures at life, accidentally brought a new light into the world and then not even have enough sense to raise him. They were petty fools who didn't want anything to do with something they should have taken responsibility for. So, they dumped the baby at an orphanage. Abandoning something that would one day do something great with his life.

The child grew up in a small orphanage of which didn't get much funds and was a total hell hole. The orphans there were either jerks or too scared to stand up for them selves, and the staff were just a waste of space. They didn't do anything for the children. They forced them to clean and cook, but never ever bothered to actually provide for the children.

Katashi, who was rather weak, always did his best to stand up for himself and others, even if it meant getting pummeled in the process. He never knew when to stop. Always throwing insults and witty comments at them as they spoke down to him, smiled and laughed after they beat him to a pulp only to continue to do it again afterwards.

One day, he met someone who actually seemed to bring light into his little world. The girl seemed so kind at first, so sweet and so... real.

A year had passed by then. At that point, Katashi didn't really want much. He was contempt with his life, as long as he had her with him. While he spent his days in peaceful bliss,

She asked him to meet her by their secret spot in the woods that they used to hang out a lot. No one knew of the place other than them, so it was pretty peaceful. As per requested, he went to the place his closest friend had asked him to go. He was nervous, in his mind, he thought that it may finally be the day. The day he told her how he felt.

However, when he got there, she was standing there, with 3 boys from the orphanage. She gave him a sweet smile before ordering the boys to beat him up. Katashi, having been one of the strongest boys at the orphanage, managed to overpower the three boys, but he was badly injured. Then he turned to Amanda. He was hurt, betrayed. He had let her into his life, trusted her, let her close. And then he betrays him like this. And of course, he wasn't just going to take this sitting down.

He fought the girl he once considered a friend, the girl he couldn't believe he actually loved. She was badly injured, bleeding, just like him. Of course, someone of authority had ran into them and brought them back to the orphanage where their wounds were treated. After they were all healed up, Amanda had the nerve to spread false rumors. Said she was the victim, said she was the one who was hurt, made everyone including his friends turn against him. The bullying started once again. This time, they called him names. 'Monster,' 'Freak,' 'Loser.'

That night, he did something unspeakable. Something no sane person would do. He committed murder and arson all in 2 hours. First, he woke Amanda up and killed her. She was scared, crying. She was able to look into his eyes and tell that he had finally lost it, he was totally insane. Then, he burned down the entire orphanage with everyone inside. No one manged to make it out in time. Everyone died. A 14 year old boy, created so much commotion and committed so many crimes all in one night.

He knew he was no longer safe there. So, he left. He ran away from the authority of his old kingdom and found himself in the safety of the Kingdom of Xandra. There, he studied, made a new life for himself. At the age of 17, he was working within the castle, doing research and by the time he was 19, he was an alchemist for his kingdom.

He always seems to be calm and cool headed, so unless you knew had to really get under his skin, good luck angering this guy. He's pretty chill and actually can give some good advice sometimes. He's definitely soft hearted and has a huge weak spot for children and animals. He seems to always has his nose in a book or working on a new assignment. He's very productive and serious when he needs to be.

Gia is was born into a small village to a merchant who was living hand to mouth. She was the youngest between her and her twin brother, Tae. They were born in a country neighbouringBoth were born on the night of a Blood Moon when all the planets of the cosmos were alligned. Though nothing special, such a birth had been prophecised by the court's alchemists; the twins born on such a day would lead the country to greatness. Though the prophecy was nothing but supersitious, in a time where the country was struggling, the tyrant of a king had sunk to such lows that it was reliable enough for him.

He scoured his kindgom, searching every nook and cranny for these children. In the meantime, Gia and Tae grew up loved by all. Both were mischievous and had a deeper connection to each other. They finished each other's sentences, did everything together, and almost communicated telepathically. It wasn't long before gossip spread about them and the king finally got them 2 years later. He burnt their home to the ground after their parents refused to let them go. Only 2 years old, they were taken to the palace and raised as the king's own children, as his wives were incapable of providing an heir. Being the oldest, Tae was groomed to become the next king, and Gia as a princess to be married off to another nation. She realised when she was ten that this was not what she wanted. Choosing to write her own destiny, she ran from the palace into the mountains.

There, she found the village of monks. Men and women rumoured to be the fiercest warriors any of the kingdoms had seen. They scoffed at the little princess whimpering at their doorstep. No one ever found their secret village was allowed to leave alive. Begging for refuge, they unwillingly succumbed. However, if she couldn't pull her weight, they would kill her. Determined, she struggled before finding her place and becoming the best warrior they had ever produced by the age of 14. She then trained as an apprentice to their guru; the oldest of them, rumored to have once been a royal general and lead their country to countless victories.

While Gia trained under the monks that loved her as her own for 19 years, Tae was raised in the castle by the tyrant of a king. Slowly, the Tae Gia knew dissappeard and was replaced by a monster. The smiling boy who comforted her when she fell and wiped her tears was replaced by the cruelest man their kingdom had seen. The time of the King's death came and the coronation was set to occur on the night of the next blood moon. Their country was in utter turmoil. Crime was rampant and their people were poor, hungry and dying. It wound only get worse should Tae ascend to the throne. Gia could not let this happen. She grew up among them, many of which were her family now. She would do anything to protect them.


Even kill her own brother.


On the night of the corronation, Gia came back to the palace. Donning her tribe's attire and the ceremonial tattoos of one of a warrior, many nobles and royals were aghast that such a hooligan had been able to enter the castle. Tae took one glance at her. His cold eyes recognised her immediately. Their bond was too deep to forget. He waved his hand lazily "Kill her" he ordered. Gia's eyes widened and a new fire burned in her eyes. "Stop!" she ordered with such command that the soldiers hesitated. Thrusting her spear at Tae, who knelt before the priest as the crown descended upon his head, she yelled once more, hand shaking with anger "I, Gia Valentina Alvarado, assert my right as an heir to claim the throne!". Gasps and whisperes filled the palace. The daughter of the king, twin of Tae rumoured to be dead, was alive and well infront of their very eyes. Tae snickered, and Gia's heart tore. This cold man was not her brother. He stood and reached for his sword, swinging it."I accept your challenge" he snickered "since you are oh so desperate to die by my hand". Gia gritted her teeth and slammed the hilt of her spear on the ground
"I challenge to you to ritual combat, brother!" she declared, and everyone fled to the security of the guard who now surrouned them to enusre no foul play. She looked at him, and the fire in her eyes died to be replace by sadness as tears ran from her eyes "Look at what you have become, brother" she sobbed. "We don't have to do this". Tae ignored her and began is assult. The fight was fierce as both skilled warriors fought tooth and nail till Gia put her emotions aside and drove her spead through the only family she had left. Tae coughed blood onto her shoulder, and tears flowed uncontrollably from her eyes. "We shall meet again in another life, sister" he managed before he died there in her arms.

The crown was something Gia didn't want, and so she gave it up to assume her rank as princess once more and helped restore their nation to its former glory. After the ascent of the False King to the throne, Gia was sent as a royal official to Xandra with the task of reaffirming their relationship between nations. Even though she posessed utter hatred for Lotor, she is loyal to the throne for the sake of her small country,

ren is a semi good looking male that stands at average height. His broad shoulders and chiseled jawline make him appear somewhat intimidating. Ren has unruly jet black hair that sits atop his head in messy curls. He hardly does anything to it in the morning, he just quickly runs a hand through it and calls it styled. Ren's eyes are a dark brown that appear black in most lighting. He has long, dark eyelashes that frame his eyes perfectly. Ren has a small scar underneath his left eye, although it's only noticeable if you get very, very close to his face. Ren is very slender with some muscle here and there. He doesn't care much for body image. Ren typically wears black clothing. It doesn't matter what it is, as long as it's black. (with a few exceptions of course)

PERSONALITY
ren is an arrogant bastard who avoids making friends simply because it's too much of a hassle in the long run. No one is willing to put up with him long enough to see how much of a softie he really is. Underneath that prickly exterior is a soft boy who needs love and cuddles. He hides his real feelings to avoid being heartbroken again, due to many, many, many failed relationships and friendships. Ren's only 'friend' is his sister, Kendra.


FACTS alexi goes by Ren because he despises his first name, and hates it when people refer to him as it; ren is a skilled piano and cello player; ren's ability is healing, although an odd form of it. he can transfer emotional/physical pain onto himself, for ren to deal with. he can take away the wound completely, but the pain projects itself onto him. (for example, someone got stabbed in the abdomen. ren can make the wound disappear, but the pain would go to ren's abdomen instead); ren is neutral, although if he had to choose, he would be a rebel.


HISTORY
ren had a pretty average past. His mother died when he was very young, so it was just him, his father, and younger sister Kendra. Ren's father was a man who felt little to no emotion, and this projected onto his children as well. He didn't care much for crying, so he made his children this way as well. Kendra never listened of course, but Ren obeyed. Because of this, Ren became the huge asshole he is today. Ren's childhood was extremely boring, but it all changed when his father died, when Ren was 14. He and his sister had no where to go, so they left. They left their small village in the middle of nowhere and began traveling with the money that their father had left behind. Everywhere they went, ren would meet someone and they would become infatuated with each other, and his horrid personality would drive them away. This happened many, many times until ren met him. A man around Ren's age. Someone who stayed with him for a whole year, and then betrayed him by framing him for a crime he did not commit. Ren's heart was absolutely broken, causing him to become more of a jerk than before.

Myrina was the oldest child of the Flammia noble family, one of the most influential families and closely connected to the old King. She was born during Fervor, when the land was engulfed in the feirce heat. Some attribute her flaming red hair to that heat, as the rest of her family lack those traits. She stuck out her whole childhood, people praising her for her pretty face. It caused her to grow up and become quite nacrisistic. It also didn't help that she was born with a silver spoon in her mouth. Myrina became quite the snob as a teenager and was convinced that her life would remain as perfect it was. Oblivious to the struggles of the commonfolk and the comming uprising, she ignorantly lived in the castle until that fateful day came.

No one believed it when news came that the king was dead, killed by his younger brother who was know crowned their king. They knew the ruthlessnes of Lotor, and so mist noble families submitted to their new ruler. But not the Flammia family. Myrina's father openly opposed the False King to his face, asking where the true king was. Lotor didn't humour their treason. He summoned their family to court. There, he slaughtered all the men in front of their wives and children. Myrina watched in horror as her father fell to the ground in front of her, crimson pooling on the floor. She, her mother, and her sister collapsed in the crimson, begging their father to get up. Tears mixed with blood, and Myrina realised that the lives they had lived till now were nothing but a dream, and that they were now trapped in an endless nightmare. Frozen, Myrina and all te other women were hauled to their feet. Their feet and necks were shackled, and they were paraded around Xandra. People did not jeer at them. Their faces filled with fear. This was the fate of anyone who defied the king. Myrinia, her mother and her sister walked till their feet blistered. If you stopped, the guards stoned you to death. Her mother fell to her feet, old and tired. Myrina desperately gripped her shoulders "Get up mama" she pleaded as a guard drew close with his sword. Her mother looked up at her, violet eyes warm, and she gently smiled as a sword was poised to swing down on her neck.

"I love you, my little girl" she smiled, and the sword swung down.

Myrina pulled her mother backward towards her, and the sword missed, striking the ground between her feet. It took her a second to realise that the chains binding her feet had been broken. "Run Myrina" her mother whispered in her ear, and she wasted no time in boltin for the dense forest. "Don't look back! Live!" her mother cried, and Myrina blinked away tears as she kept running. She dared not stop. Branches broke a distance behind her as they pursued. Myrina had never felt so desperate to turn back for her mother, but she had made a vow to her mama. Live. She had to live. She fell into a ditch and twisted her ankle. Myrina almost cried out in pain when a hand covered her mouth. Cold sweat covering her body, she dared not move. The soilders ran past the ditch, and once they passed over, the person covering her mouth moved their hand away. They moved to retreat into a tunnel when she reached out to grab their sleeve. "Please" she whispered, violet eyes red from crying "don't leave". Wordlessly, they continued on the way, however they didn't make her let go. Holding the back of their cloak, the little princess followed them through the darkness until they emerged in the mountains.

Myrina had been saved by the elder of the mountain tribe, who took her in when no one else would. He raised her as his own. But Myrina's grudge against the king had grown into an all-consuming wildfire. She wanted revenge. And the only way to get it was to kill him like he killed her father. Her mother. Her sister. The elder trained her in archery, swordsmanship, and battle for 8 years till she was a fierce warrior. The bratty, naive little girl grew into a fierce and determined young woman who set out with nothing but the clothes on her back and food in her stomach to gather a force. An army to overthrow the King. She couldn't get her revenge alone. And she knew there were others just like her.

She won't rest till his head is displayed for the word to see.

Her emotions are shown clearly and is loud, bold, hotheaded yet kind and cares for her rebels. Even though her emotions are clearly shown she doesn't like admitting to things...even if they might seem obvious.

𝙃𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙤𝙧𝙮: Sora was born into a noble family of priests who had a very different mindset. They, of course, sided with the New King and thought that the women of the family were to stay at home always to either tend to housework and children or become a nun. Sora did not agree with this and always dreamed of wielding a sword and knew that staying stuck at home and doing chores was not the fate she wanted to choose, so she escaped at age 12 and disguised herself as a man.

As a man, she wandered Xandra by herself until she came across a boy the same age as her. They quickly became friends and he introduced her to his sensei, an elderly man skilled at swordsmanship. He agreed to take her in and teach her how to wield a sword even after finding out she was actually a girl.

She spent years training and being friends with the boy who some might say would be the beginning of love. At age 17 her sensei died of old age and all that was left was her and the boy, who later on died as well for speaking out against the new king. This left Sora very bitter and she joined the rebellion as well, rising the ranks to become a Leader.
