Summary and Review of The Maze Runner

My book was The Maze Runner. Thomas shows up to The Glade, with his memory completely wiped. He finds himself and others trapped in a maze that they think is inescapable. He works with the only girl that has shown up, and ends up cracking the code to escape.(50)
Overall the book was fantastic. It always had suspense building up, and so many mysteries to be solved, wanting you to keep reading more and more. It somewhat felt like it was real, like it actually was happening to me. There was so much action and it was fast paced, so there was so much going on that you couldn’t take your eyes off the page. There wasn’t a lot of detail put into each character, because of how fast it was, but just enough for you to know their personality. The fast pace of the book really leaves you wanting more. You really feel engaged and it always leaves you in shock. I really liked this book because of how strong the friendships are. They were always there for each other and backed everyone up. They never showed fear to stand up for themselves and others, they sacrifice everything for each other. Even their lives.(155)
