Jayden was silently washing down the tables and he looked up, towards the three people. He didn't really talk much, then frowned as he watched Jade jump onto the seat next to Kila, Jason, and Tatsuma. "Hey." She said with a small grin.
"Why hello there little one. Whom might you be?" Tatsuma said politely as his tails went every which way.
"I'm not that young," Jade said with a pout. "I'm Jade, I'm the chef at this fine tavern. Just wanted to greet the customers." Jayden quietly walked over to them. "Um, Jade, shouldn't you be working. Uncle would be pretty mad if you didn't go back to work." His voice was a bit timid.
The elvish girl giggled. "Oh come on, I'm on break right now. We have specific breaks since we're not yet adults. Plus I did what I had to." She said to her brother.
"If you want, I can help cook. I do often sell my sake here." Tatsuma said politely. "Tatsuma Shiroyama at your service." His tails drooped as a sign of respect.
Jade smiled, "First why don't you order something. I need something to do and people don't really order my food." She said.
"Oh but I already have." He pointed to the picture of a ramen bowl. "If you don't mind."
"Alrighty. I'll be back then." She said, jumping over the counter, despite the bartender's protest but she was already in the kitchen, preparing the ramen.Jayden said, "Sorry about my sister, she's usually like this." He gave a soft smile and said, "I'm Jayden, that was Jade."
"It's a pleasure to meet the both of you." Tatsuma said kindly. "I wouldn't mind teaching Jade a thing or two on cooking."
Jayden gave a polite bow, then walked to a table and began setting the table that was nearby.
Tatsuma sipped his sake patiently. "You ok in there Jade."
"Almost finished," Jade called out as she just finished. She smiled and left the kitchen with the Ramen. The dark elf smiled as she placed the bowl down, the smell of Ramen filling the air. "There you go." She said.
"Thanks for the meal." He ate the ramen happily.
"No problem," Jade said with a small smile.
Tatsuma finished his ramen and wiped any broth that was left on his lips. He carried his dishes into the kitchen and started washing them. "You've got a lovely kitchen. It might even rival the beauty of mine."
Jade followed behind and smiled, "Thanks, Jayden helps out when he can." She said.
"Well it most certainly shows." His wisps dried what dishes he washed and set them where they belong. Tatsuma started to wash the counters and the used cutlery. "How long have you been cooking Jade, if you don't mind me asking."
"Since I was younger, like I started 30 or 40 years ago(Since Dark elves age slow) I've been working here ever since." She said.
"That would mean you're still a child in Dark elf time." He smiled. "I'm thrilled to have met such a young and talented chef." His tails brushed against her arm. "I remember being saved by a Dark elf once. Folks got it wrong about your kind. Your folk are a kind and helpful race. It's the brigands who ruin your reputation."
"Well we try our best, we do have a few bad apples." She said with a smile. She sat on the counter. "Most of us are just mischievous, some take it too far though." She said.
"True enough." He dried his hands. "I take it you've never met someone of my kind before?" he gestured to the tight grip she had on the counter's edge.
"Not really, I mean I've heard about your kind, Kitsunes, I've never met one until now." She said.
"I'm one of the elders of my race." He gestured to his ten tails. "We're not a bad folk, just misunderstood. Brigands hunt us to use our fur for trading. I lost my best friend to those bastards." He looked at a locket that he grabbed from his kimono."

((Oh forgot lol))Jade said, "I'm going to take my break if you don't mind."
"Go ahead, it's not like business is bustling at this hour." Tatsuma said calmly. "Do as you wish."
((College prep stuff so I'm only checking in rn))
((Not really, it was boring))Jade smiled. "Sadly it isn't up to you. My Uncle runs this tavern so it's his say on whether or not I get free time." She said.
"If he has a problem with a customer's request then he can come talk to me." He winked at Jade and put up the clean dishes.
Tatsuma drifted to Nagi's table. "You alright there ma'am?" Tatsuma asked kindly. (Want to have them be like childhood friends?)
"You seem tired, would you like some tea?" He asked politely while looking at the tea menu.
"What would you like then?" He asked kindly.
((Wasnt Jason in the forest, and what is with your characters and sleeping, it makes it hard to rp with))
"I'm Tatsuma. What's your name if I may ask?" He asked politely. His tails were highly visible
"Pleasure to meet you Nagi." The AngelsWing guild patch on his kimono was highly visible, as long as the silver bar that signified the second in command stuck out like a sore thumb. "You look beautiful today if I may say so."
"What brings you to Tsuki Nagi?" He asked politely.
"If you like I could talk to my guild leader and you could join up with us. We're always looking for new members." He said kindly. "With us, you can take jobs at your leisure since the board is always full."
"SerpentsGaze I presume?" He asked in a kind tone.
"I really don't mind your guild. I only mind your guild when I have to rescue hostages from your leader's idiocy, no offense. He did kidnap my sister after all." He held her hand gently. "Um, your tail is sorta crushing my tails." His tails were being dragged to the floor.
"You're quite alright my dear." He said politely. " Your tail has a mind of it's own, I get it. Happens to me quite alot. Be thankful you only have one to keep track of, I've got ten."
"You make it look beautiful though." He said kindly. "Don't let anyone tell you otherwise Nagi."
"No problem, just stay out of trouble if you can." He said kindly.
"Just depends on the jobs you take." He kissed her hand gently. "I'm not saying you have to, just try."
((Because Jason is always asleep))
"Of course." He let her hand go. "We should hangout more often, you're awesome to chat with."
