I think I did too!Sarah McTernan’s was out in the second semi final and haven't watched much since.
I recently finished two novels by Barbara Nickless: Blood on the Tracks (Sydney Rose Parnell #1)
Dead Stop (Sydney Rose Parnell #2)
I enjoyed them immensely, well-written with a twist on the norm. The main character, Sydney Rose Parnell, is an ex-marine working as a railroad cop. I read them with Kindle Unlimited. Give them a look.
Happy Reading!
Anyone into sports? The build up to the Scottish Cup Final featuring some of the worst analysis you will ever hear or see.
BBC Sportscene trying to be Sky Sports but failing miserably.
Embarrassing 🙈 https://t.co/tImvfsBaUO
Catherine wrote: "Guess what? I was handed a free copy of ' The book of Mormon ' today. How did they know, I collect anything that's bound in leather?"have you started reading it? Like the Bible, even if you don't believe the religious parts, the books hold an amazing history.
I have actually and was pleasantly surprised by their beliefs. The only reference I had of them hitherto, was one in a Sherlock Holmes story.
Isn't the book based on the surmise that Jesus appeared in the Americas a couple of thousand years after his death?
The religion apparently was founded in the early 1800's by Mr.Smith on the discovery of certain golden plates with the story on it.

I have had the privilege of watching this show on one of my trips to the mainland. Has anyone else watched this?

I would love to. However, they haven't reached in my part of the world yet. They do seem to have touched the US, Germany, Australia & Switzerland.

Thanks. Will have a look at them. Have marked the first one to read already. It does get progressively more and more difficult. The bad spellings are getting more and more complicated and are soon forming a language of their own! But it's humorous nevertheless.

Not sure if this is the right thread, but does anyone know of any good book blogs? I'm trying to find some more places to reach out and request book reviews.
Twitter & Facebook have such groups. Just use #wrtingcommunity & #reviewer tags liberally with each post.Meanwhile, do keep posting your book excerpts on this site. Our in-house reviewers will offer their expert opinion.

Thanks! Maybe I'll post another excerpt later tonight.

Thanks Frank. I'll wait for the Muse of Poetry to inspire me before I venture there.

I can make it easy, Beatrice. I think I'll start a Haiku round there, where each person only has to add 2 lines - seven and then five syllable. More counting than poetry.
Come and have a play (only if you want to, of course).
