~~~Enjoy & Stay blessed in the New Year~~~
Here is what is what I received as a New Year greeting. Bet this cannot be converted to emojis.May your festive season be punctuated with revachism whose magnoliquence can only be theatropistically analysed by the use of reminiscent exacerbation. I hope you dont mind my apostacy. I know your arquistic impedance might not engulf this kind of debauched pedagogy because of its repuginatious tolecentrism.
It cannot, I guess. But here is the surprising source doing the rounds on Twitter.https://www.financialexpress.com/indi...
That is impressive!
Thanks, but as Catherine rightly pointed out, I am not it's author, merely been at the receiving end of a prolific message.
The origin of the ampersand can be traced back to the Latin word et, meaning ‘and’. The E and the T that make up this word were occasionally written together to form a ligature (a character consisting of two or more joined letters). Writing the word this way saved the writer time, with one letter flowing seamlessly into the next – a form of cursive or joined up writing.
Support independent horror writers, especially the second guy, he's pretty good, but feeling low and could really use a bit of validation right now.https://www.theboldmom.com/choose-you...
Sorry, didn't get back earlier...
The review is actually postive in a way isn't it?
You are making the reader question things, think & there is a sense of crawling dread. What more could a horror writer ask for??
Why don't you post an excerpt in 'Work here authors'? We hope some of our members can give you more good reviews?
Out of curiosity, for the authors here, is there any particular genre or influence you despise writing? I find myself cringing at any attempt I do at romance, thinking it feels particularly bleh. But when it comes to action/adventure, coupled with fantasy, words just so very easily flow out of me. Do you guys ever try, and delve into the genre you dislike/are unfamiliar with?
Along the same line of question for readers, is there any particular genre you definitely do not enjoy? Do you try, and find a book that might get you into it? Or do you just pass it by?
This comes about because I challenged myself to write romance, and while my friends who are sneaking quick peeks at it like it, they laugh because it does not at all have a romantic feel to it. >.>;; And I was wondering if I’m alone in this boat, or if there are others joining me in the what-am-i-even-doing brigade.
Hi SR! A very valid question. You should have a look at our feature of the Month by Zuzu Lu. We also have a romantic genre lined up for next month by Shanna Swenson. All the best.
I've only delved in romance thus far... (I've published two books) which I don't write your typical romance novel. My books focus on tragedy and love's power to heal a broken soul, so there's suspense, turns and drama. So it's considered out of the norm. I also don't write to market. I write to inspire. I call it romance with a touch of reality. We all have some horrible thing that has happened to us that is a taboo topic no one wants to talk about, and I kinda bring that to the surface a little bit because as most of us know... life (and romance for that matter) isn't all roses... With that said, I personally will read anything and everything, so long as it holds my interest. Usually if a book hasn't hooked me after Chapter 2, I put it down. I love the unknown, fantasy and thrillers, and I have some paranormal "romance" books in the works. The one good thing about romance is that it is so diverse. But I would tell you to write what you enjoy writing. If writing romance doesn't appeal to you then don't write it. Write what calls to you ;-)
Thanks for the wonderful opportunity Grasshopper. Really appreciate this. Congratulations to all the winners & participants alike.
Thanks GB, I am recovering from the most massive hangover ever! I should have seen this sooner. Thankfully, I don't own a billiards table!
