Bernard Smith | 3030 comments Interesting! Samuel L has a rich voice, but I would prefer James Earl Jones: "You are an old human, but unfortunately you have not acquired much wisdom".

A note to self from Darth Vader, or do you prefer the Simpsons?

message 503: by Bernard (new)

Bernard Smith | 3030 comments Yes, know thyself. Did he voice Bleeding Gums Murphy?

An article says, 'The voice of Bleeding Gums Murphy was provided by Ron Taylor'. Wiki says it is JEJ. Apparently, he was also Mufasa in 'The Lion King'

message 505: by Bernard (new)

Bernard Smith | 3030 comments I will keep faith with Wiki. Murphy is one of my favourite characters. I was a saxophonist myself, but fortunately I avoided that condition.

Err, not sure what you mean.

message 514: by Bernard (new)

Bernard Smith | 3030 comments John Bercow is the Speaker, responsible for running the business of the Commons. The PM obviously thinks he was treated inproperly by him.

Alexis Harding | 1386 comments This robot fish could one day be used for defensive surveillance.

Tunabot mimics how real yellowfin tuna swim, with a speed up to about three feet (one meter) per second. Researchers are studying fish propulsion, which could inform future underwater tech. https://t.co/lPt079yKF5 https://t.co/uDfiuERfEP

message 536: by Bernard (new)

Bernard Smith | 3030 comments I am serious. In those days, a chemistry set was a popular gift for a child. I made lots of vile smells, but learned a lot about the subject.

message 537: by Grasshopper, Administrator (new)

Grasshopper Bot (daisyking) | 6903 comments Mod
Me too! Although I'm positive they weren't vile. In fact I made my own home-made beauty products and didn't suffer much for it.

message 538: by Bernard (new)

Bernard Smith | 3030 comments Interesting! I never made any beauty products. I must look into this.

As professional chemist, I would not go as far as to say it bends the rules of chemistry, especially when it fails o say which one it bends. I would also make a prediction based on such rules. If this was used on any scale, there would be some spectacular fires. On the other hand, I wonder if it could be used for storing hydrogen? The method of making it is not very attractive, though.

message 550: by Bradley (new)

Bradley Simon | 1028 comments A good point Ian. Maybe you should mail them some of your observations.
