I sure hope I'm doing this right!

I love having the excuse to read all day next weekend! I'm still not entirely sure what I'll be doing next week, but I do have some ideas.

1. I'll need to have an audiobook since I have to run some errands in the morning.

2. I've got a library chunkster that is due October 29th, so I'll focus on that.

3. I've got a short attention span so I might need some comics and manga on hand as well.

Jamie | 412 comments There is no right or wrong way to do this. And yes, some comics/graphic novels or short stories are great to break things up. Especially if you are focusing on a larger tome.

I always like a good variety of books so if I am not into my current book I can switch it up. So having at least 1-2 backups is a good idea.

Yay! It makes me nervous to just start a topic in a group :-)

Thanks for the encouragement!

More planning:

1. I'll need to have an audiobook
10% Happier How I Tamed the Voice in My Head, Reduced Stress Without Losing My Edge, and Found Self-Help That Actually Works by Dan Harris Black Klansman Race, Hate, and the Undercover Investigation of a Lifetime by Ron Stallworth

2. I've got a library chunkster that is due October 29th, so I'll focus on that.
Fall of Giants (The Century Trilogy, #1) by Ken Follett

3. I've got a short attention span so I might need some comics and manga on hand as well.
Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, Vol. 1 The Crucible by Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa Princess Jellyfish 2-in-1 Omnibus, Volume 8 (Princess Jellyfish 2-in-1 Omnibus, #8) by Akiko Higashimura Princess Jellyfish 2-in-1 Omnibus, Volume 9 (Princess Jellyfish 2-in-1 Omnibus, #9) by Akiko Higashimura

I have to revisit my plan...

Looks like I might finish 10% Happier pretty early on. So it may just be Black Klansman. I might scroll through my Audible titles this evening to see if I have another one that interests me.

Ooops. Already finished one. I've got plenty of others though!

4. I've fallen behind in one of my Litsy readalongs so I need to make time for Macbeth as well.
Macbeth (No Fear Shakespeare) by William Shakespeare

5. BINGO baby! I need to do some planning tonight so I can take out some squares.
Well it's pretty convenient that one of the squares says "Read more than one book." I know I can manage that one!

6. Make time for romance.
Her Halloween Treat (Men at Work, #1) by Tiffany Reisz

7. I also need to leave space for mood/wild hair reading...obviously there's no plan for this item.

8. To traditions (that I totally stole from Camila)
The Clue of the Velvet Mask (Nancy Drew Mystery Stories, #30) by Carolyn Keene

Revising TBR plans happens SO often. lol. And it's not big deal! There's always something disrupting whether it's finished books before the readathon starts or other plans being made on the day, whatever!

Hi Sace.

Loving your avatar!

This is my second. I have planned much better--didn't know to plan the first time.

I hope you enjoy yourself 😊

Not even two hours in and I've already learned a few things:

Go to the grocery store the day BEFORE the readathon.
Make a schedule.
Remind my husband not to bother me.
Start a new tradition: Wear or use some Dewey/lit swag.

lol yup! We usually run errands together every other Saturday and this morning I said NOPE! You're going to the transfer station and Home Depot alone! But buy Powerball and Mega Millions tickets! ;) This is my second year doing Dewey's, he's used to my routine by now.

Hi all... another Litten here @Mollyanna. I love seeing all the Littens on GR for the readathon. Are you enjoying your first Dewey readathon?

Hi Mollyanna! I am LOVING this! It feels so low-pressure and even though I haven't finished a book yet, I do feel like I'm successful since the social aspect is also important.
