Susan (jazzescrapper) | 11153 comments Sorry Maddie. I was watching a most anticipated book in 2019 and lost track of time

message 1361: by Bernadette (new)

message 1362: by Maddie (new)

Maddie (maddisonbruce) | 2507 comments Yeah that's fine. I should be on for another 2hr or so. I'll probably be tired way before then, but we'll just see. I need to pick Kane up from his work Christmas party around that time as well.

message 1382: by Elizabeth (new)

Elizabeth (aconight) | 366 comments It gets me to speed up my reading. Especially needed right now the beginning of this is terribly slow with high action spurts.

Susan (jazzescrapper) | 11153 comments I want to start that series but have so many I need to finish up. Do you like it?

message 1395: by Susan (new)

Susan (jazzescrapper) | 11153 comments I'm reading some Christmas book right now called Merry & Bright Merry and Bright by Debbie Macomber and it is just what I needed without knowing I needed it :)

Red Queen was fantastic. I am usually not a fan of first in a series -mostly character/world development etc. Aveyard did a great job of of integrating it gradually instead of blurting it out. The second one has been a bit of a rollercoaster. Hoping it picks up more in the second half.

Holiday spirit, love it. I have so many challenges, I am trying to stay on a schedule with the exception of shorter novels/plays.

message 1398: by Susan (new)

Susan (jazzescrapper) | 11153 comments I need to stay on top of my challenges too. One was reading contemporary/romance so I guess I am staying on track with one of challenges.

message 1399: by Susan (new)

Susan (jazzescrapper) | 11153 comments Life has been so up and down lately that I felt a Christmas book might put me in the holiday sprint and this one is really cute is easy to read. I am flying through it.

message 1400: by Susan (new)

Susan (jazzescrapper) | 11153 comments Are you still sprinting? I am going to eat dinner and then I'll be back
