Vampire diaries is the book based on the show, and the books are utter crap. I dnfed the series after book 4 because I couldnt stomach it anymore. But yes definitely watch the show!!! There are spin off shows that go side by side with it too later on!

I'm finished watching so if you want to sprint now we can but I think I'd rather read by myself

This will be my last for the night. I should probably try to sleep
7 more pages. It's insane how much I relate to this book already. It's about an Irish (tick) Catholic (tick) family of 6 (tick) with 2 girls and 2 boys (tick) all born within 8 years of each other (tick) birth order girl, boy, boy, girl (tick). That is like my childhood in a nutshell! It takes place a few decades before my childhood but it looks like not much has changed! They have even described one of the brothers going to the Youth Mass when the Pope visited Ireland in 1979 and his experience was so similar to mine in the UK in 2010. Right down to sleeping in a field and two people having sex in a sleeping bag feet away from him. The stereotype of hypocritical horny catholic teenagers is very accurate!
I love when a book is so relate able like that. It makes the book so much more enjoyable
16 pages. I get much less distracted during slightly longer sprints.
