Lobstergirl, I speak a bit of Japanese and I can't see any particular person being credited for this work as an individual author. I looked in amazon.co.jp as well, and as far as I can tell this book was compiled and published by PHPカラット.http://www.amazon.co.jp/gp/product/45...
On amazon.co.jp at the end of the title you have this kanji:
編集 which means editing or compilation.
if there was an individual author you would have this: 著.
I also checked TOC and there was no individual author credited. (this book has look in feature on japanese amazon)
The only thing I would do is set PHPカラット or PHP研究所 (PHP kenkyūjo/PHP Institute) as editor, and that's basically all you can do.
