Just to let you know, Kyra, this is a special edition with a collectioon of three books. So, you are seconding only "A Christmas Carol", for this edition with other two books wasn't read by the group.
That's OK. :-)But we frequently have members in doubt about what edition is being nominated or voted, so let's keep referring to a general title, not to a specific edition, to avoid any misunderstanding.

YES!!!!"
Han, can you clarify if this was meant as a second?
Remember, we can't nominate books we have reread as a group in the last twelve months, and those areThe Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy
Alice's Adventures in Wonderland
A Man Called Ove
All the Light We Cannot See
The Night Circus
Ready Player One
Fahrenheit 451
The Book Thief
The Handmaid's Tale
Edited to agree with Zeljka. American Gods is eligible!! :-)
Marcos, thank you for your explanation, but American gods was picked for reread last year in November, and these are nominations for December, so there would be a year between...If you don't agree, can you please tell me when will it be eligible?
Thank you:-)
Zeljka wrote: "Marcos, thank you for your explanation, but American gods was picked for reread last year in November, and these are nominations for December, so there would be a year between...."Without having given much thought to that, I was just listing the last 12 chosen books. But I didn't take into account the months with no choices!
So, if the original rule (intention was 12 months = 12 choices) was to be followed to avoid frequent repetition, the last 12 choices wouldn't be eligible. But you brought a good point to attention, and I think it goes better this way, last 12 months, even with less than 12 books, because it brings back quicker to our options some of the books in the Group Bookshelf.
So, American Gods is eligible!! :-)
I'll remove it from the list and anyone can second it.
I second:Christmas Carol
Clockwork Orange (nothing says Christmas like me droogies!)
One Hundred Years of Solitude
