Background:
Feliz Bolingbrook is the leader of a tribe of creatures that keeps to themselves deep within a forest away from the local human population. He is a fair leader who keeps a tight rope around every member of his pack. He usually distance himself from others except when times calls for his presence. What will happen when a princess comes into his life turning his life upside down? Will he throw her to the wolves? Would he try to help her recover her taken kingdom?

It started as a normal night, the maids rang for the family to come to dinner. Robyn was the last one to come to dinner, she sat in her normal spot at the table. Her hair was up in a bone since she was about to paint before she heard the bell. "You look different, Red." said her older sister. Robyn looked up from her plate at her sister, she smiled softly. Her sister had come to visit with her husband, who was from another Kingdom. It had been at least four years since they saw each other. Now her sister is a Queen, she understood that she was busy but she still missed her. "Really? I don't think that do." she said as fixed her hair back once a piece of hair fall out of place. Her sister smiled and they continued laughing and talking through the night with their parents and her brother-in-law. After dinner, Robyn went to take a bath. She had her maids help her into her nightgown, they combed out her long red hair. After that, it was time for everyone to go to sleep. She went to her room and got into the bed with her. She grabbed her book from on the nightstand and started reading the book. But she stopped once she heard screaming. She got out her bed and went to the door, she slowly opened it and saw her brother-in-law with the some Knights, they were walking up to someone who was on the floor. "Why Roman?.. I thought you loved me." Robyn knew that voice, it was her sister. 'What is going on' she thought, she started to walk out but her sister noticed her and shook her head. Robyn stopped and walked backward back into her room but kept it cracked. "I never loved you, Crystal.." he said as he chuckled and stabbed her sister. Robyn couldn't believe what she saw, the man that she thought loved her sister just killed her in cold blood.
She needed to leave, she hushed out her room. "Go get it her!!" Roman yelled as he saw Robyn. She didn't stop running, she went to the royal room and saw her parents. Her heart dropped at the sight of their bodies. She couldn't grip what was happening. But it was no time her that at least not for the moment. She heard footsteps coming from behind her, she looked at the front door and sighed seeing that there was no other escape. She runs out the door and into the darkness of the night. She glanced up at the moon and saw that it was full. The stories and nightmares of the wolves that were said to live in the woods. But she couldn't stand around out in the open, she heard footsteps getting closer and saw horses coming to her. She needed to run and hide. And the woods was the best opinion even though she was scared. She runs into the woods.
(I cant figure out how to start this one. Any ideas? He cant just run into her...)
~ Hmm.. They attack her thinking she was a spy or something but, when your character sees her. He recognizes her as the princess...
(Hope its good...)Feliz Bolingbrook stood among his wolves. His people whom were all wolves. Out for their night hunt to provide food for their young and elderly, the pack took turns snuggling the air for prey. A sharp bark had Feliz turning his head in the direction of a brown wolf.
"What's that?" he asked the brown wolf.
The brown wolf barked several more times, joined by others.
"Humans in the forest. They are coming this way. " He narrowed his eyes in thought. "How interesting." Raising his hand, he gave one sharp command. "Scatter."
The wolves ran in different directions. They split off into groups of threes. Feliz chose the random direction of walking forward. One snuff of the air told him humans were indeed in the forest and were venturing deeper and deeper into his territory. "Now why are they so deep in the forest, I wonder?"
The wolves ran and ran. Some barking and others growling as they made their way toward the princess and her pursuers. Although it seem the wolves were running wild they however wasn't. The ran in a pattern. One that was designed to surround their prey on all sides to keep it from escaping.
It didn't take long for three wolves to track down the princess. The winces of horses and howls of men running in the opposite direction told Feliz that they didn't success in capturing the big prey. A howl to his left told him that they had cornered a person and were waiting his orders on rather to kill it or not.
Feliz, running, made it to the location of the surrounded lady. Inhaling her scent, he could tell she was human. But who is she? He walked forward as he catch his breath.
One of the wolves snarled at the frightened girl. Another growled at her baring it's teeth. And the last one waited for in an attack position for her to make a quick move. All the while Feliz proceed forward wondering if she would be a decent size meal.
Robyn was scared enough as it was but, then she started to hear something running and from the sound, it made when it's feet hit the ground. It was something huge, Robyn glanced back and soon saw a huge wolf. Damn it she thought to herself. But the next minute she was down on the ground, she was in her nightgown. Which wasn't obviously meant for outside, it was slightly see through and it was thin so it only took a hard fall for it to rip at the bottom up to her thigh. She glanced down and noticed that it wasn't just one wolf there were at least five surrounding her and they didn't look pleased. Her heart started to race as seconds went by, she wondered why they didn't attack it was until another wolf came into the picture that it made a little sense. They were waiting on their alpha she thought. He just looked at her, which made Robyn more scared wondering what he thought as he looked at her. She scooted back from him as she tried to speak but, nothing came out. She sighed as she glanced at the ground for a second before she tired again. "What do you want?" she asked, feeling like it was the best question to ask at this time.
Feliz, in human form and shirtless, took a few steps forward. His eyes narrowed when the girl scooped back. The animal in him urged him forward to sink his fangs into her. The one thing that stopped him was the blue or hazel eyes he couldn't quite make out in the night. They showed the deep fear within. But was it truly fear from his wolves and he or the people pursuing her. The next thing he noticed was her red hair that flowed in waves around her. Could she be...? He took a few steps until he was in front of her. Crouching down in front of her, held a hand up signaling for his fellow men to quiet down. Once the growling had ceased, he studied her face. Red hair, blue eyes, freckles -- yeah it's her Standing abruptly, he bent down grabbing a hold of Robyn`s hand he pulled her to her feet in one swift movement. "The question you should be asking, Princess, is why are you so far away from home." Feliz released her hand and looked her over. Beside the ruined gown, he didn't see any cuts. Noticing the fact that her gown was see through his eyes darken slightly and so he closed them and turned around not giving Robyn the time to answer. "Sarah." He called out. A few minutes later and a woman dressed in a dark dress made from some animal skin emerged from between the trees. She had a dark complexion and short black hair. "The rest of you, go search for food." Feliz commanded as Sarah approached them. The wolves nodded their heads and spread out, going in different directions. In her hands she carried an piece of clothing. "Give it to her." He ordered Sarah.
Sarah walked pass her alpha and held out the long dress for Robyn to put on. "Put this on. It will cover yourself." The other girl gestured to the torn nightgown.
Robyn tried to scoot back from the man as he walked closer. She opened her open to speak but, he was already crouched down in front of her. She was too scared to speak, her eyes looked down at the floor ready for him to kill her. But when she felt his hands into her's she glanced back up. She tried to pull away but, his strength was to strong. She didn't like that he basically pulled her up but, she knew one word would make their dinner. She frowned when he stared at her but, then she remembered her nightgown, her cheeks turned slightly red as she covered herself up the best she could. "Excuse you." she said, her tone still showed her fear but, she wasn't about to not speak on his actions. That were just pain rube, she watched him turn and call for a girl, she assumed since the name. She saw the girl come from behind a tree holding a cloth. She heard put the name said but she still backs up when the girl started walking toward her. Robyn nodded to her words, and quickly took the cloth out of her hands and wrapped it around herself. Robyn knew she didn't answer the man's question about why she out here instead of being home. It wasn't his business, she just needed to get away from Roman and his men.
Once Feliz heard her wrapping the cloth around herself, he waited a few seconds before turning around. One look told him that she no longer was revealing herself. "You can come with us, Princess, or not. Your call." He started to turn but pause midway. "But it is for your safety if you do join us. The forest is no place for you to be out here alone." With that he turned and started walking. The choice was hers. He would not force her to follow them nor would he carry her. She was a princess after all. He couldn't help wondering what her story was. Why was she out here at night? For the large tear in her nightgown, he concluded she had been running away from something or someone. Whichever the case he decided he would wait until morning to question her if she followed. Sarah looked at her walking alpha and then Robyn. She started to say something, but thought better of it. With a heavy sigh she turned. With one last look at Robyn, she hurried to catch up with her leader.
How did he know who she was? She has never been out of her kingdom before, it was weird that one minute he seemed anger, the next he was calm and he even made her choice. Damn it she thought to herself, she glanced into the darkness. Now understanding that her childhood stories of the beasts were true well partly, Robyn sighed not knowing what else was out there. She might not trust them and even like them but, she was never a stupid girl. She started following behind the man and the girl, known as Sarah. It wasn't hard for her to fully catch up, she held the cloth around herself tightly. It didn't only helped her cover-up, it also helped give her some warmth. Since she watched her feet as they walked. "How do you know, who i am?" she asked.

It didn't take him long to hear the soft steps of the princess walking behind him. A smile tugged at his lips upon hearing her question. "You just told me Princess. Right now." He told her with a chuckle in his voice. In truth he knew she was the princess from seeing her every now and again walking among her people whenever he would visit to get medical supplies for the injuries in the forest. She didn't need to know about his visits to her kingdom. Besides if she did found out it may spook her to learn that creatures like him walked among her people. He continued the walk forward. Every now and again he would tell her to step over a tree limb or watch where she stepped, since he assumed her eyes couldn't see very far into the darkness of the forest. After leading her deeper into the forest, they soon came to an small community which homes were made from trees and stones. "Welcome to the tribe Princess." Robyn sighed as he went around her question. But she didn't say snything else. She just followed him through the woods. Once her eyes locked on what she believed to be houses, she didn't believe it. It was a whole village, she walked in slowly. She just couldn't believe that it was all real, it made her wondered was the rest of the stories she heard were true that these beasts really was all about food. And that was all they saw human has.. a meal. If so she might have just walked into a trap.
Feliz started forward bit stopped when another of his members walk pass them carrying a load of fish on his shoulder. Feliz frown and sighed. "Fish again?"The man paused and looked back at his alpha. "Yep. We couldn't find anything else this late in the night." Then he proceeded walking.
Sarah excused herself and left the two. Feliz looked over his shoulder at the princess. "This way. We need to get you better clothing wear." Looking forward again he walked on through the homes. Around him both humans and wolves looked at the human girl. Feliz knew they were all curious as to why a human was here in such a causal way. He would explain it to them later just who this human was and what she was to them. Leading her further into the community, he takes her to a house made out of a large tree stump. Stopping at the door he opened the door. "Princesses first" He smiled at her waiting for her to walk through into the little clothing shop.
Robyn could feel all the eyes on her. She hated it but, at the same time she used to it. Being a princess and all. That's all half of her kingdom did when she walked through her village until some got used to her. But there was always a few that just stared at her and never spoke. She glanced over and saw a little boy, she smiled at him. But instead of getting a welcoming smile back. He frowned and ran over to a woman that Robyn, assumed as his mother. Did they fair her?.. If so why, she didn't have anything her kingdom fall, which meant she was actually a princess with no kingdom and a princess with no kingdom. Is just a worthless human. At least that's what she was always told by her parents. She followed the man through the village and sighed once he opened the door for her and spoke. She walked inside and glanced around at everything that was around her.
Feliz entered after she crossed the threshold. He walked pass her toward a woman and man, who seem to be either sewing or stacking clothes. The clothes were made from the fur of different animals that was killed. "Hey Altos, can you get the Princess" He stepped back a few steps and with a hand on her lower back he gently pushed her forward. "Something nice to wear?" Altos look the princess over as if sizing her up. He gave a nod and gesture for the older woman beside him to help her. "Here name is Violet." Feliz told the princess. Violet approached Robyn without hesitation. The older woman walked around her looking her over closely. Then she came back around and went to a stack of clothing. Picking out a few pieces of clothes and then placed them into her arms. "Come along now." Violet took Robyn by her upper arm and tugged her toward a inner room. "Change here." With that she walked out leaving her to dress alone.

Robyn's eyes went to the man once he passed her. She followed behind him when he put his hand on her lower back. Her body tensed up. Her father was the only man that ever touched her, so having another man's hands on her made her feel uncomfortable. Robyn smiled at the woman and nodded to his words. "Beautiful name." she said softly, she glanced down at the clothes and frowned slightly. It wasn't something she used to wear but, it was better than what she had on at the time. So she didn't complain at least not out loud to anyone. She didn't know what was up with everyone and touching her without asking but, it was another thing she didn't complain about. She just followed the woman to a room. And when the woman spoke all Robyn did was nodded and she was gone. "Okay then." she said softly, she unfolds it and glanced at it anymore. And it totally wasn't what she used to. She glanced at it as she slowly tilted her head slightly sideways and smiled at it. It was actually cute. She changed into the clothing and then walked out. She glanced around for the man, that she yet to have name. Once spotted him, she walked over to him and handed him the cloth that he told the Sarah girl to give to her in the woods. "Thanks.." she said. (view spoiler)
"Altos," the man said. He looked her over one then smiled. "You look lovely in our latest outfit, Princess." Just then Feliz walked up to stand beside the two. He too eyed the princess. "Winter is coming. The fur will keep you warm." Feliz said and dug in his pocket. Putting out some gold coins he hands them to Altos, who looked them over and then beamed up at his alpha. "You're welcome," said Feliz. Turning he looked back at Robyn. "We'll get you something to eat first and then it's off to bed with you. You look exhausted." He started walking and gave the shop keepers a wave. He assumed the princess would follow him seeing as she didn't know her way around. Once outside again, he leads her across the land. In the distance a big fire was made and the smell of fish cooking could be smelt. A large crowd stood around the fire. "Wait here" Feliz told Robyn as they came to a stop a meter from the crowd. He processed forward. As he got close, the crowd parted for him. He walked to the front of the fore where fish was being cooked. Grabbing a hard plate he piled five thick fishes on top. Then he walked back the way he came. Some of his pack were looking back at the princess. Reaching her, he gestured with his head for her to follow him. Leading her away from the fire, he headed in the direction of his house. It didn't take long to reach his house as it sat off to the left facing a meadow which couldn't quite be seen at night without night vision. Just as he did at the shop, he allowed her to enter first. Once she was inside he lights a few candles around the room. A small table sat in the middle. He placed the plate down and pulled out a chair for her to sit. "Come you need to eat. I'll show you to your bed afterward."
Robyn bowed to the owners. "Thank you." she said softly. She knew it was un-princessly like to bow to the citizens.. Well in her kingdom it was and she honestly could never help herself. She hushed off when she noticed the man walking off. She glanced at him as he walked into the crowd and she stood to wait everyone mostly stared at her like she was something weird or some meat. She wasn't about to follow him once he was out of the crowd. She didn't want to. She glanced back in the direction she assumed to be the way she came in but, she sighed nervously knowing that Roman was still out with his man trying to find her. She would be stupid if she went out there at least for now. She rolled her eyes and followed the man into his place. She stood quietly in his house and sighed before she finally spoke. "Umm.. I am not hungry." she said.
"That's right. You humans eat early." The thought came to Feliz quickly. Turning around he gestures for her to follow. "I'll show you to your bed then. Around here we eat at night, so I'm not that much surprise you wouldn't be hungry." Pushing aside a hanging cloth that covered a door frame. He walked inside and light another candle. "This will be where you will be sleeping. It's not what you're use to but it'll do." The bed was made up of furs from different kinds of animals. Feliz felt slightly embarrassed that he couldn't provide her with something softer but this was the forest. Mattresses didn't exist out here. "It's my bed but for tonight it's yours. I won't be in this bed with you so you don't have to worry about that." He walked back to the door and looked at her. "I guess this is goodnight?"
Robyn nodded when he spoke. She had questions but, she kept quiet and just followed behind the man. She glanced around and even though it wasn't what she used to. It was still pretty. So she shrugged at his words. "It is still great." she said softly, she nodded to his words but then has he started to walk off out of the room, she turned to face his back. "Wait.." she said. "I think it is weird that you clearly know me but, i don't no a damn thing about you." she finally said. It made her feel weird that she was going to be laying in someone else bed without knowing at least his name.
Feliz stopped walking. Turning back around, he really looked at her. There seem to be some anger in her voice. He wondered why. What has happened to her? There was silence between them for several seconds before he said, "My name is Feliz Bolingbrook. My pack calls me Alpha, but I don't expect the same from you, Princess. You outrank me in a sense." He shifted his gaze away from her. "You can call me Feliz, Princess." He shifted his gaze back to her. "We will talk in the morning. I don't know what you have been through, but know that you are safe here. No one will touch you without my permission."
Feliz she thought to herself. It was unlike any name she ever heard of but she nodded to his words. "Yeah, I highly doubt that." she said, she just saw the man her sister trusted with every bone on her body kill her. So Robyn wasn't about to believe that she was safe from anyone. When he finally left, Robyn glanced around. She saw a spread, her father showed her how to use a spear once when she was a child but she was actually better with a bow and arrow. She sighed and grabbed it thinking it would have to do. She had to get away, Roman was sure to find this place and she didn't want to be when he did. She looked for another way out and saw the window. She sighed and walked over to it quietly. She glanced back and sighed. She couldn't be here. She was the last of the royal family. With her gone, Roman would get what he wanted. Power over all the land, she climbed out the window and start running off toward the woods behind the village.
"Where would you go, Princess." Feliz asked Robyn from somewhere around her. He stood in the shadows of the trees watching her. Particularly eyeing the spear in her hand. He didn't know if she knew how to use it or not, but in case she turned on him he was ready, which is why he remained in the shadows. Previously, he had walked out of the room leaving her to go to bed by herself. As he went to pick up a piece of fish, he heard the little sounds that came with climbing out of a window with a weapon in hand. Guessing just who was sneaking around, he went out the front door and around the back. He watched her gather her bearings and the weapon before she took off toward the forest. He followed her thus ending with him remaining in the shadows. "Do you know what you're up against going out here so late at night?"
Robyn jumped at the voice, she glanced around until she spotted a man in the shadows and by the sound of his voice. Robyn guessed it was Feliz and sighed, she rolled her eyes but, she still kept the spear at her side. "No, I don't but I will take my chances." she said, Robyn never been these far in the woods and in the dark was another weird thing for her but she couldn't just sit around. "I have to get as far as I can from here." she said, she had no thought of attacking Feliz as long as he didn't attack her.
"Why?," he countered. He took a step forward into the moonlight since she spotted him. She has good senses to find me in the dark for a human. Eyeing the weapon, he took another step forward. "Why must you get far away from here?...You do realize you're the first human to ever get this far without intervention." He met her gaze. Under the moonlight, she reminded him of a warrior, strong and fierce.
"It's none of your business." She snapped at him, he had done nothing wrong to her so far but, him not letting her go was getting annoying. She knew Romen was going to find her here. The last thing she wanted was for that to happen. "Look I understand that you are their Alpha and all. And that you have to protect them but, you don't need to protect me. I will be just found, just make sure your wolves stay out my way." She said before she turned her back and started walking away. She wasn't the best fighter, seeing how her mother hated that she even knew how to kill anything with a bow and arrow. After she found that out, her mother took her away from her father's training and started training her to a 'proper lady' which never really felt right. ~ I was thinking maybe she will get hurt in the woods and go back to the village and ask him to train her.. And that's when she starts being more open. What you think?
(Sure. We can go with that.)Feliz stared into her eyes. "You're right. I don't need to protect you. I just felt a duty to be met, but I see now that you are capable of taking care of yourself." He turned halfway. Looking back at her, he said, "The forest is no place for a princess. There are creatures out there that won't be taken down with just a spear. Just be careful. Stick to the river and stay in the moonlight." He though if he gave her some advice that she may survive out on her own. "Good luck and goodbye Princess."
Robyn listened to his words, even though she didn't stop and said 'okay' she had taken his words in and even his advice. She was grateful for them. She huffed a little. Just because I am princess.. Doesn't mean I can't take of myself. she thought to herself. She kept walking and when she was at the river finally she took a drink, she glanced around not knowing where she was going. Well, direction wise. But she knew the Maxwell kingdom was somewhere. She hadn't been there in years but, it was her father's secret ally. No one knew but the family and no one was allowed to speak of it and she knew Crystal never disobey their father's rule. Which meant Roman had no idea about the matter. The Maxwell's owed her family their life and her family owed the same. That's why they have been loyal for so long. She glanced in the direction in where the river flowed, she shrugged thinking that it could possibly lead to the kingdom she was looking for.
Feliz watched Robyn go for a little before he turned back around and headed toward his house. Walking inside, he is met with the sky of Trace, his right hand man, eating his fish. Narrowing his eyes, he growls."That's mine."
Trace continued eating the piece of fish in his hands. "Stubborn isn't she. I mean for a princess."
Feliz walked across the room. "He dragged the plate of food back toward him and picked one up. "Let her do what she wants."
"She was kind of cute for a human huh?"
Feliz didn't answer the question. Instead he bit into his food. The pair continued eating in comfortable silence until the fish was gone.
"Should I trail her?" Trace asked, standing up.
Feliz shook his head no. "She'll be fine on her own. Let's hope she doesn't run into that annoying troll."
Everything seemed great, she thought about Feliz said. Which was hours ago by now. It was about to be morning, at least thats what she thought. Since the sky was starting to turn blue. Meaning the sun was raising from somewhere. Robyn still walked sided by sided with the river. She had saw a few atee nixies swimming the river. They were believe, she had saw saw a dead one before, years ago when the river was drying up. One somehow end up at the village enterance. They were more magically looking when they were swimming around. They stopped and stared at her. Like she was the one with things sticking out of her head making weird noises. But then again Feliz did say she basically was the only human that went this far.
The next day, Felix woke bright and early. Emerging from his home, the sun shining in his eyes had him shielding them. After a few minutes his eyes adjusted and he was well on his way. As he passed by a member of his pack he would receive a 'Good Morning Alpha' or nods of acknowledgment. He walked passed an apple tree and tugged on a fruit. Turning back around, he headed toward the meadow where he knew a few of his men were training. By the time he made it to the meadow since he took the long way he had finished his apple. In the field, several men were sparring together. A small group of children stood back watching in amazement. He smiled and proceeded forward. As he pass a child, he placed a hand on her hand causing her to giggle and look up. "You pups want to see a show?" Their eyes lit up and nods and words of yeah came. "Alright then." He walked forward. Immediately, everyone that were sparring came to a stop. Once he was close enough he stopped and met the eyes of each of his fighters. "Alright. I want to give these children a show. How about all eight of you come at me with everything you got?" The looks of amusement floated across some of their faces while others saw this as a chance to finial take down their alpha. Feliz get into a fighting position. "Come at me with everything!" He called and the fight begin.
She had heard the tales of the beasts that roamed the woods in the full moon but she had never though them to be more than a story to scare children to their beds and out of the woods.
But the werewolves are real.
Can the princess out run them long enough for the moon to set? Will the wolves do what the invading soldiers could not?
