Follow Author Button incorrect

When someone clicks on my follow Author button on my Goodreads page, it takes them to my reviews instead of following me as an author. Is there any way to solve this?

We've been testing this out at the office and are unable to replicate this issue. Could you offer some more information around the issue please?

There is a small "reviews" link above the "Follow Author" button — perhaps this is link being clicked accidentally?

Hard to say, as I cannot see the button at all. But definitely people are following my reviews instead of me as an author. Frustrating.

I'm not the only person this is happening too--I'll mention it to them as well and see what they say.

So I've been in touch with some other people who are saying the same thing: when people click on the follow Author button, they are getting notifications that people are following their reviews, not them as an author. Is this a glitch? Are people actually signing up for me as a follower (not of reviews)? My follower numbers do seem to be climbing...

Sorry for any confusion, McKenna. Clicking the "Follow Author" button will follow the author in question, and that includes following that author's reviews, blog and updates. I think the notification wording needs to be updated for clarity and have informed our developers about this.
