Jackie "the Librarian" | 8991 comments I'm a fan, first introduced to Ellison because of his Star Trek connection - "City on the Edge of Forever". He's horribly opinionated, and a huge curmudgeon.

I enjoy interviews with him, and I've read a compendium of his movie reviews and other writings called Harlan Ellison's Watching, but I haven't read any of his SF stories. I'm a bit afraid of them...

Sarah | 13814 comments I've been meaning to see the documentary. He's quite the ass, and so full of himself. I love his story titles, perhaps more than his stories. I've read a fair number. "A Boy and His Dog" and "The Beast That Shouted Love..." stick out. I can't say that I really like his work, but I think some of it is excellent.

Sarah | 13814 comments Bleah. Was that this year? Defending himself by saying he's known for being un-pc is no excuse at all. Un-PC and sexual harrassment are not synonymous. Poor Connie Willis.
