Jane | 1438 comments The sign up page has been posted and I'm starting to prepare for the Read-a-Thon. My sister is hopefully going to come to my place to take part with me.

Dewey's 24 Hour Read-a-Thon October 2018

Jane | 1438 comments 1) What fine part of the world are you reading from today?
I’m reading from a small village called Tørsbøl in the south of Denmark.

2) Which book in your stack are you most looking forward to?
I’ve only chosen 3 books so far and of these it is Blood Cross by Faith Hunter I’m most looking forward to

3) Which snack are you most looking forward to?
I’ve not got any special snacks this time. I’ve got some sweets, crisps and cookies ready for snacking on.

4) Tell us a little something about yourself!
I read a lot of course and I enjoy going on canoe trips. As something new I’ve only just started this year is geocaching. It is a fun way to go for walks in a lot of different places. It has eaten a lot of my reading time.

5) If you participated in the last read-a-thon, what’s one thing you’ll do different today? If this is your first read-a-thon, what are you most looking forward to?
I’ve taken part in a lot of read-a-thons and I’m not going to change anything from the last few times. I’ll read from start (2pm) till about 11pm, then sleep for about 6 hours before starting to read again. I might have to go out for an hour or so in the morning.

Jane | 1438 comments The 3 books I have lined up are:

Witch in Danger (A Blair Wilkes Mystery Book 3) by Elle Adams Witch in Danger by Elle Adams

Magic & Mayhem (Starry Hollow Witches #4) by Annabel Chase Magic & Mayhem by Annabel Chase

Blood Cross (Jane Yellowrock, #2) by Faith Hunter Blood Cross by Faith Hunter

My goal for the Read-a-Thon is around 100 pages so I’ll need to find a few more books.

Jane | 1438 comments Well it's now 1am and I'm on my way to bed. I've been a bit distracted the last hour so I've only finished another 87 pages. I might read a bit more in bed.

Goodnight.

Jane | 1438 comments Closing Survey!
1. Which hour was most daunting for you?
When I went to bed around 1.30 am - I had hoped to read a bit more in bed but that didn't happen

2. Tell us ALLLLL the books you read!
Witch in Danger (A Blair Wilkes Mystery Book 3) by Elle Adams Witch in Danger by Elle Adams
Blood Cross (Jane Yellowrock, #2) by Faith Hunter Blood Cross by Faith Hunter
Magic & Mayhem (Starry Hollow Witches #4) by Annabel Chase Magic & Mayhem by Annabel Chase
Where Your Heart Is (Lilac Bay Book 1) by Rachel Schurig Where Your Heart Is by Rachel Schurig

3. Which books would you recommend to other Read-a-thoners?
Definitely Blood Cross by Faith Hunter, it was a really good book if you like fantasy and paranormal.

4. What’s a really rad thing we could do during the next Read-a-thon that would make you happy?
I think you are doing a great job as it is.

5. How likely are you to participate in the Read-a-thon again? Would you be interested in volunteering to help organize and prep?
I have taken part in the last 15 R-a-Ts so there is no doubt I'll take part again. But I'm not interested in volunteering for anything.
