I'm not so sure I like Lex at this juncture... Theo I get, the moody, standoffish person - coz I'm a lot like that.

All my characters are written with deep emotion and grow throughout the book. I love writing the imperfect person and exposing then exploring those flaws. It’s raw and real. Sometimes those things are uncomfortable.
You can definitely tell that Lex has a lot of insecurities throughout these chapters but I love how all of those drop away and she loses herself through her dancing, it's beautiful to read about.

I loved Lex and all her insecurities. They were so real to me! BUT, I loved it even more when she completely lost herself in the dances and you could practically FEEL the change in her when the music started!

Side note: I was a huge fan of the videos, they made this book just that much better for me!!

I just finished chapter 16 and so far I'm loving this book!! Both Lex and Theo are very interesting characters and I can sense that they both have endured difficult experiences in the past that made them who they are. The are both multi-layered characters and I cannot wait to learn more about them as the story progresses..
