Kinda later than planned, but I finaly started this book. The concept so far seems interesting. But I'm only on chapter 2.

So far I am enjoying the start of the story. But at same time I am waiting for it to grab me.

(view spoiler)[ Kinda excited that we finally going to meet Paul. Tho, I am getting strong vibes that there will be a love triangle. All the memories and the way Meg thinks it's like she isn't sure how she feels about Paul or Theo. And I am trying to guess, is Paul really a bad guy? Maybe there is more to the story. Oh it's getting interesting.

I don't think she only loves Paul in this dimension. I think she has feeling for real Paul, too. Or at least some kind of feelings. But. If not. How is she going to go back to her 'time' after this? Hm. (hide spoiler)]

So far I have learned Dad was murdered, and Paul fled because he's blamed. And she has a huge crush on Paul. She doesn't think he did it. Gotta fix the Firebird and figure out who is responsible. And if Paul isn't, why did he destroy all the research?

Side note, this American narrator doing a Russian accent is pretty hilarious. LOL.

Crap!! I am blowing through this and not even stopping to think about it. It's been such a good book, I hardly noticed it's about to end!

Okay. Some thoughts...
(view spoiler)[Margs might be too trusting of Paul. I'm kind of back and forth with this guy. It's possible he's after something and he's using Margs.

She can jump through dimensions while maintaining her memories of her other lives. Which is crazy. So instead of like popping in and out of time and universes, you kind of like fade into one person?... but Not really... IDK! Confusing but so interesting. Very Sci-Fi.

When she ends up in the 2nd universe... Paul has been accused of stealing her parents work. He's got to be after something. And it's more than just recognition? Or power? He knows something... I have to finish today & find out!

WOW! I was not expected her dad to actually be alive and his consciousness trapped because he was without his Firebird. Incredible twist in the end, and now Paul has shared how the Firebird may be used as a weapon, and after what happened to her dad it's not hard to see that!

Glad everyone ended up back together. I feel like she will once again fall in love with Paul, but understand the uncertainty she feels about falling in love with him but not actually him... since he's died before and this is now a new Paul. But it seems them being together is "destiny"...

(view spoiler)[You should know that at page 100 I realized it felt like I had only read 25 pages. This is going SO FAST. I don’t want it to be over, already.

Also I am IN LOVE with this book. Like, in Love love. The characters are amazing and the world building???? Holy sh*t!!

(view spoiler)[Okay wooooaaaahh that’s a little fast there, kids.... I kind of wish this romance would slow down a little?? I was feeling the start of a delicious slowburn but here we are, doin’ the do after only a few weeks set in this world. Yikes!

I honestly feel like Paul dying would have had more impact for me if they hadn’t rushed into things. IDK I might be in the minority about this but his death didn’t impact me so much. I also don’t think she should have made that decision for the other Marguerite. I know they kept saying “every Meg” but tbh......no. It’s still not her body. Somebody else is going to have to live in that body for the rest of her life. Even if it’s still MEG she likely won’t remember what happened and she’s gunna suddenly.....not....be a virgin???? That seems invasive and makes me a little uncomfortable, but it’s not enough to spoil the whole book for me thank God. (hide spoiler)]

(view spoiler)[AAAAH I KNEW IT!! i knew Theo was in cahoots with Conley. I didn’t know exactly how bt he was suspicious the whole time. I’ll probably like him more in the next book, which I’m thankful for bc I didn’t like him at all this book.

I’m really happy I finally read this. Despite having some issues with the romance, I did LOVE the characters and the chemistry between Marguerite and Paul was incredible, on all accounts. Can’t wait to readTen Thousand Skies Above You!! (hide spoiler)]]

There is already so much devastation and love just in those few chapters and that is completely heartbreaking. Can't wait to see where this book goes.

Chapter 5-12

So much occurred in these chapters I am surprised that I managed to keep up with it all.

Well then the last 2 chapters that big mistake!

The sex scene made me cringe so badly. But seriously Paul better not be dead!

She seems really torn between Paul and Theo but I feel like her heart belongs to Paul more.
