Sanchali Ghosh | 4 comments The book is about a plague like disease that spreads to America due to poor sewage disposal into the seas. However, a little girl is saved along with her father because she is immune to it like many others from the TV radioactive emissions. Soon, the band of survivors starts running north towards DC. They find shelter in an apartment. The whole city is infested by rats. But to give a signal to the rescue helicopters, they have to get out. The father wraps himself in a mattress and tries to get out from the elevator chute. But he's killed by the rats. Sad ending, Bam.

Its a very badly written book that I once read from the library. But I have no access to it anymore, and I'm obsessing over it heaven knows why. So please please feed my obsession!

Tab (tabbrown) | 5084 comments Sanchali, how many years ago did you read this?

Was it for teens or adults?

Anything about the cover?

Sanchali Ghosh | 4 comments It was like 3-4 years back. For teens really... The cover was Bluish... with the picture of a highrise apartment in the distance... author and novel name in big golden fonts

Sanchali Ghosh | 4 comments I'm still looking for it actually. I don't want to read it. But I want to know its name. It's like a weird obsession now.
