Wow! I didn't know how Ginny and her dad was going to fit into this. Especially surprised no investigation of that car wreck included searching the lake for another car. Like there were no tire marks or anything?... but okay, suspension of disbelief.

I have some conflict with the ending. All in all I think it was a good book.
Tragic ending for Monica, learning that her sister did in fact commit suicide. But some comfort in finding that her sister wasn't murdered. Seems this hunt could have been avoided by her parents being honest with Monica, keeping a suicide letter from her is cruel.
But it took this entire investigation for her to find it necessary to press charges against Brandon for statutory rape... Unsure if she would have ever done that had she not found out his involvement with the other girls.

Very entertaining book. I'm rating it 4 stars.

I also knew Ginny's father had to have something to do with it if they were looking into it that much, but I for some reason didn't think it would be the car crash and I didn't think she would be with him when it happened. WOW. That was a fantastic book. (view spoiler)[ everything was tied up and figured out which I loved. I was blown away by the realization that brandon was allie’s BF when that came up-such a crazy twist! And then the email from daphne and Monica putting together that it was Ginny’s dad, a drunk driver that really killed the other two girls-mind blown again. And as if that wasn’t enough, we get it cleared up 100% in the last chapter from Ginny’s POV that she was actually THERE! I’m so glad that was her secret, and why it meant so much to her to help Monica solve this. This whole thing kept me reading nonstop!! (hide spoiler)]

I don't really are what happened and keep having to keep character names straight which doesn't happen when I really get into a story. (view spoiler)[ well i am almost done this book and have to say I still do not care for it. Unless in the last few chapters something big happens it prob wont get more than 3 stars from me. Like her stepdad finds her snooping and knows now she stole the phone and nothing comes of it? I would have been in so much shit if I had pulled something like that. I also feel bad for her, her mom clearly doesnt show affection towards her like she does her brother. It isnt her fault her sister died (hide spoiler)]
