I thought for a while there that it may have been decided by one voter, that late flurry made a bit of a difference.The winner,maybe slightly predictable but, nommed by Brass Neck, This Town Ain't Big Enough For Both Of Us. A point behind, grabbing the silver, Gordon's nom, Beat the Clock. Johnny fills out the podium this week with Never Turn Your Back On Mother Earth.
I have to confess that I simply did not get time to listen t the playlist, and as I only know the hits I didn't think it fair to vote. I will get to the playlist as soon as I can.
On a happier note, this evening I secured my ticket for the Roadburn Festival next year! My funeral will be April 15th next year, you are all invited :-)

Roadburn is THE stoner festival Duke. Its held in Tilburg in the Netherlands. Only a few bands announced so far, including Sleep and Seven That Spells. Sleep play two sets, Seven That Spells play for three hours. Those two facts alone are enough to make it worth my while. How much does a ticket cost?

The ticket cost me a total of 215 euro Duke. That may seem a lot, but it is four full days, and it will most likely be my only holiday next year, so I don't object at all to that. There are direct flights from my local airport too so it is relatively easy to get there and back.A few friends are coming with me, you are more than welcome to join us if you can.
According to Wiki Sparks have over 20 albums, which came as a bit of a surprise to me as I think that off the top of my head I could name one song, and you all know what one that is.
Let's see what we can find then. Noms close as usual at 10 pm on Sunday evening, or as close to it as I can manage.
