It didn't take long for word to reach Emmanuel's kingdom that the Potrova's kingdom had fallen to the enemy. And soon after only a day or so later Emmanuel started to hear that the princess was still alive. But the enemy had her as their prisoner. Which Emmanuel couldn't sit by and let continue. Even if he was the most cruelest king of all times, at least that's what most all him. Emmanuel started to order his men to go and get her for him but, he did better than that since he once was a knight back when his father was still alive and still king. Emmanuel knew about battle and never could sit around and let his men do all the darky work. He decided to go with them. Emmanuel had just slide the throat of another knight when he heard one of his men. He frowned at the words he heard for a second before he walked down to where he stood and saw her for his own eyes, he put his sword away and sighed as he glanced over at Wyatt the man that found her. He patted his shoulder before he walked deeper into the cell. "Marianna.. You really are still alive." he said. Not being able to think of anything else to say.
Emmanuel shook his head about to speak and say he didn't want anything from her but Wyatt spoke. Emmanuel was to focused on seeing her that he hadn't noticed her cuts and bruises. His hand automatically balled up. But he quickly relaxed when she recognized him. "What you think I came to get you out of here." he said, he quickly glanced behind him. When he heard his men. "We found him majesty.. What you want to be done with him?" was asked of Emmanuel. "Hold on.." he said answered quickly. He stepped closer to Marianna and spoke. "Wyatt, is going to take you back to my kingdom.. There my personal doctor will take of you. I will be right behind you." he said, he knew she had seen enough. He didn't want to her to have to watch anything else. "Wyatt.. go now." he said quickly.
Once Marianna was out of sight, Emmanuel's whole attuited changed. His men knew his cruel sided every well, since they have seen it in many battles. They held the man down on his knees as Emmanuel walked closer to him with a smirk. It was a blessing that this happened since he had been asking for Marianna's hand in marriage for years now. But her father always said no but, since her father was gone. He could marry her as he always planned. And if this man had only slaughter her father, Emmanuel might have thought about letting him go. But he touched Marianna to which didn't sit right with Emmanuel. "Let me." the man said trying to break out of the men. Emmanuel smirked, he knee down so he would be in eye contact with the prisoner. "See.. this is all your fault." Emmanuel said calmly. The man turned his head to Emmanuel. "He is talking to you!" yelled one of the men. Emmanuel raised his hand, and the man nodded and stood quietly. Emmanuel smirked and stood back up, he ran his right hand through his hair as he took his sword out with the left. The next second, the mans head rolled off his body, blood was pretty much every where. "Let's go." he said as he walked off like he didn't feel the man's blood on his face. His men bowed as he walked passed and followed behind him. He was back at his own kingdom as the sun raised over the mountain. Adding such a beautiful sight to his kingdom. He got off his horse. He patted it before he gave it's leash over to the caregiver. "Make sure, he eats well tonight." he said as he walked off. Emmanuel headed inside, he still wear the other men blood on him but it was nothing new of him. "Sir.. you might want to go clean up." said a maid that looked down at the floor the whole time she spoke to him, frowned at her words but it quickly faded when he realized what she meant. Emmanuel headed up to his room to take a shower and get some clean clothes.
Emmanuel's hair was still wet after he dried off from his shower but he didn't care since he was home. He didn't use maid for his clothing, it was not a special job he needed them for so he didn't bother wasting their or his time with it. Emmanuel walked out of his room wearing simple clothing. "She is waiting in her room, sir" said a guard waiting outside his room. Emmanuel nodded and walked only a couple of feet to her room. He sighed as he knocked softly on the door. "May I come in?" he asked.
"No.. No.. Please stop." he said as he shook his head and waved his hand in the air slightly. "You don't have to work.. You are royalty.. I won't allow you to be a maid." he said as he give a slight smirk, his hand went into his pants pocket as he walked over the window were Marianna was just. "I rescued you because you needed it." he said which was partly true. Emmanuel was never one to lie, he just always left out bite and pieces every once and a while. He sighed as he glanced over her, she noticed the bandages, and he could tell that the doctor didn't do what he was told. He made a note in his mind, to speak to him but Marianna came first. "But.. since you want to repay me so badly.. how about you.. you marry me?" he said with a straight face, having been raised by his father his whole life. He wasn't romantic at all, his father only showed him how to protect his kingdom. Everything else the old mad left out.
After her semi-reaction Emmanuel thought the word "No" was going to come out her mouth but shockingly it was the total opposite. He smirked at her and soon bowed to her. "Thank you, my lady." he said, he stood straight up once again and decided to walk closer to her saying how she said yes, it give him the green light to get closer to where he saw fit. He held out his hand toward her. "I will introduce you to everyone and of course around your soon to be kingdom... But only if you want to." he said with a smile.
Emmanuel nodded as his hand automatically closed, when she didn't take his offer. "Alright.. I will let you be alone.. I will make sure my men don't disturb you in anyway. Until dinner." he said, as he glanced over at her back facing him. He was slightly upset but he wasn't so mad that he couldn't control it. He ran his hand through his hair and left once she didn't say anything. He closed her room door, and sighed once again. "No one is to bother her until I say other ways." he said with a rude tune. The guards nodded as they stayed by her room door, knowing that if they left they would most likely get beheaded. Since Emmanuel didn't state for them to leave their post. Emmanuel was down stairs in his study softly after.
Emmanuel stayed in his study looking over the kingdom a few miles east of him, he tried to be nice a few weeks ago. To ask for them to either move or give up their kingdom. But they didn't want to so it left Emmanuel needing to take action and, not the nice kind. Emmanuel sighed as he got annoyed taking to some up with an attack plan as he looked at his map of all the kingdoms. "Just maybe..." he said to himself as ran his hand through as he finally thought of an idea. But his door swung open, he frowned at the sight of one of the guards that he signed to stand by Marianna's room. "What in the hell are you doing standing in front of me?" Emmanuel asked. The guard but his hands together in front of him as he looked down at the floor. "I am sorry, majesty but the princess decided to take away alone." he said, Emmanuel slammed his hand on his desk. "Go with her you damn idiot.. Don't you think other kingdoms what her? I won't allow anyone to take her from under my damn nose!" he shouted, the guard nodded. "Yes, sir." he said simply as he closed the door and went to find the princess.
"I tell damn idiots to do one damn thing, and yall can't even do that." He slammed his hands on his desk as he stood up. He shook his head and started to walk out but he stopped in front of the guard and glanced at him up down. "I don't want to see you again after today if I do that will that will be the end of you." he said with a straight face. He pushed the man out of his way and walked off, he was annoyed one wont be? He sighed as he walked out his castle and onto the path that leads to the village. Everyone knows him, he was the king of their kingdom so it was kind of hard to blend in. He walked around looking for Marianna, he spotted her through a window of a cafe, he sighed as he walked in. He glanced her, he didn't want to point her out since he knew the case of that. He knew the glare was going to be enough but his eyes went to the old women that ran the cafe. "Oh your majesty.. you haven't been in here in years.. I remember when you use to come running here to hide from your father." she said. Emmanuel rubbed the back of his neck.
Emmanuel gave a fake smile to the owner and nodded as he walked out of the shop. He was pissed, most of the guards could tell and the smart villagers could tell from how he was looking. He listened trying to understand her. But when she brought up 'back home' he lost it. He glared back at her with his fist balled. "Guess what you're not home! You're here.. If being a prisoner didn't show you that people are really after you. Then maybe your not smart, like i thought you were." he said. He sighed as he went back to walking.
Emmanuel wanted to snach her back to him when she called herself walking away from him. But he just sighed and head to his study. His father always said that women were complicated but he himself never believed it. All the women he might were fine and understanding but he had his hands full with Marianna. He pushed opened his study doors, the double doors slammed against the wall behind them. Emmanuel walked to his desk and sat down, he tried to work but his mind kept thinking back to Marianna. Which made it hard to focus, he soon just leaned back in his chair and just stared off.
Emmanuel stayed in his study, he heard someone walk around but he didn't bother to ask who was walking around on their bare feet. Already knowing who it was. He ran his hand through his hair, he finally glanced up when a maid walked in with a tray. "I don't want that." He simply said. She nodded as she bowed, she turned to walk away but then ahe turned back. Emmanuel frowned at the sight. "What." He said. "The princess is in the kitchen.. eating."she said. Emmanuel nodded. "Good. Let her be.. for now." He said. The nurse nodded again before she walked out leaving Emmanuel alone once again.
~ Maybe he leaves to go fight the other kingdom, he comes back wounded and she helps him back to health.. =/ first thought that poped up
~The he takes her out in village, to show her around??
