I read this book 2-3 years ago.

Based on what I remember, there was a girl who has aspergers and is/has entered college. She doesn't understand the world around her and is poor at social interactions. She may have lived with an aunt, but I really don't remember. She's also super into fast cars. So anyway, she meets this guy and at one point I think they go on a ski trip and end up staying the night together. I also think that the cover may have been yellow.
