Anne ✨ Finds Joy (annefindsjoy) | 718 comments As a tie-in for our October theme of mystery/super sleuth, here's a quick mini challenge inspired by the board game Clue - you'll only need to read 4 books to complete this one.

1. Clue Characters:
Read a book that features any of these colors / or last names (it can be in the story, or the title, the cover, or illustration):
Red - Miss Scarlet
Yellow - Colonel Mustard
White - Mrs. White
Green - Mr. Green
Blue - Mrs. Peacock
Purple - Professor Plum

2. Clue Weapons:
Read a book that features any of the following weapons (it can be in the story, or the title, the cover, or illustration):
Dagger/Knife
Candlestick
Revolver
Rope
Lead Pipe
Wrench

3. Clue Rooms:
Read a book that features any of the following rooms (it can be in the story, or in the title, the cover, or illustration):
Kitchen
Ballroom
Conservatory
Dining Room
Billard Room
Library
Study
Hall
Lounge
Cellar/Stairs

4. Clue "all-in-one" Envelope
Read a book that has one item from each of the 3 tasks, all in the same book. ie. read a book that has a red cover, AND features a knife AND a library.

For book ideas (task 2 - weapons), check out this listopia:

(Inspiration for this challenge came from the 'Cozy Mysteries' group and a similar challenge they did in 2010)

Track your progress in the thread below. Minimum to complete is 4 books, but you can always read multiple books for each task :).

Happy sleuthing!
