ABANDONED. YA series about girl who starts as a librarian's apprentice but discovers she has magical powers

From what I remember it's a YA series about a girl discovering she has magical powers (she has rare powers), she's an orphan and works as a librarian's apprentice for the king and goes on a quest to save a magic school (one of the students is the prince who has wind powers (i think?). I read it about a year ago but it was published within the last year. The girl and the prince end up falling in love together. There is one specific scene where she falls from the roof of the school to force her to fully gain her power and the prince saves her from getting hurt. If someone can tell me the name of the book, that would be great, thanks!!
