Aelin and her court arrive in Terrasen to a less than enthusiastic reception. Were you surprised at this? Was Darrow justified in his accusations/reservations/actions?

[Melissa]

I wasn't surprised, but everyone acts like she stayed away a purpose. No one seems to understand that she was young and her memory wasn't good after what happened. Arobynn brain washed her. Darrow was justified in his reservations, but his accusations are way off.

[Gypsylisa]

To me it sounded like a man not wanting to be ruled by a woman. (however I was reading this part during the Kavanaugh hearing).
Aelin was hunted the night her parents were killed. If not for Elana she would have died. I don't see any path for her life to have taken other than the one that was available to her.

I agree Melissa and Gypsylisa. Everyone seemed to forget that she was just a child.

Darrow really annoyed me and so wanted Aelin to set his trousers on fire...
