Some time back Audible beta tested a version of the Library that included sorting by genre... not sure if "Horror" was an actual category, but however it is usually listed was there. It also had the narrator listed right after the author... both of these were great features. This beta version apparently flopped primarily because much else about it frankly sucked. The Download feature was hidden behind about ten steps and other features were more difficult to navigate as well.
I do miss the sorting by genre and narrator, but I'm glad that version of the Library never became a permanent feature!
I made my own spreadsheet for my library a year or so ago and I have a column for genre, as well as title, author, length, what number it is in a series, and my rating if I've read it.
I would use my GR shelves. I’d go to my Audible shelf, scroll down to the bottom of my shelf listing, click on “select multiple,” and select my shelf for the particular genre I want to listen to. The page that loads would show only the books that I have placed on both shelves.
Is anyone else having trouble being able to search their library? That feature is still there on Audible UK but i can't find it on the US site. it makes it hard to find the link to write a review.

It’s also on the app.
Denise wrote: "Does anyone know if you quit Audible membership do you still keep your audiobooks?"If you have downloaded them to a computer, tablet or phone, you will have them unless you delete them. If you are streaming them from the website, I don't know, but I'm sure some of our other members can tell us. It is possible for nonmembers to purchase books from Audible so it seems like there must be a way you can still log in and access what you bought.

I have an issue with my Wish List since the last sale. I bought about 10 books and most of them were on my Wish List. They are now in my library but they are still on the Wish List. Next to the book, it says In My Library and there is no option to remove them from the Wish List. I've never had this happen before. Usually once I buy a book it disappears from the Wish List. I did a chat and the rep told me to try another browser but it looked just the same that way. Has anyone ever had this issue? It's not a big problem but I'd rather not scroll through a bunch of books I now own, even though they are marked correctly as In My Library.

I googled it and found the suggestion to use the mobile website link https://mobile.audible.com (on your phone) - go to your wish list, and there will be an option to remove the book (see the 3 dots on right of book)... I did it on my phone and it worked for me! To clarify, you do NOT use the audible app, but instead type in the mobile.audio.com into your internet browser URL address bar on your phone.

I have a few books stuck in my wish list because copy rights have changed and they are no longer up for sale in my region/country.And now I can't remove them either. Well, it will probably solve itself some time - either the book will disappear, the region restriction will get sorted or one day I won't have a wish list/won't be a customer anymore.
I've decided to ignore mess and leave it unsolved for Audible to fix or not.
Thanks for the tip of how to remove books from my phone. I usually look at the site on my laptop or tablet and I don’t see how to do it there.
Thanks, everyone! I will try on my phone. It's never happened before. (I figured I broke it when I bought 11 books at once!) I sent a screenshot to Audible and they are supposed to get back to me.
Thank you so much, Anne! I used the link to the mobile platform and deleted the audiobook from my wishlist at last.
I first tried the app, where I don't even see the Wish List, but then just went to the mobile internet site and was able to delete. I actually deleted about 3 and the rest disappeared on their own after that.
Does anyone else find PURCHASED books are still appearing in their wishlists? Mine are tagged as purchased but I can't figure out how to remove them :-/
Margo wrote: "Does anyone else find PURCHASED books are still appearing in their wishlists? Mine are tagged as purchased but I can't figure out how to remove them :-/"See message 21. That method of removal worked for me. I used my iPhone.

Don't have an iphone and it doesn't let me remove via the Fire app. I just have an Itouch and that doesn't allow me to view the wish list. :( I'll just wait until after the holidays and call customer service about removing them.
Stephanie wrote: "Don't have an iphone and it doesn't let me remove via the Fire app. I just have an Itouch and that doesn't allow me to view the wish list. :( I'll just wait until after the holidays and call custom..."On the Fire do not use the app, use the browser to go to the website. Go to the bottom of the home page and switch to the mobile view. That might work as well as the iphone.
If the wishlist continues to contain books I have already purchased, my intention is to send Audible an email to remove them. If they have to spend time helping customers, maybe this will induce them to fix the problem.
I also have had a problem with this since last summer. I wasn’t able to remove the book through the website on my PC. I couldn’t remove it through the website or the apps on my iPad or iPod Touch. I was finally able to remove it using my Android phone. I think I did it through the website and not the app, but I don’t remember for sure. Thanks, Anne.
Customer Service was no help to me. They said they would get back to me but when I was able to fix it by the website on my phone, I emailed them that I didn't need any more follow us. I should have just left it to see if they would come up with a solution.

I ignored the problem for months and only took action when I read how to fix it in this thread. It would be much more annoying if purchased books stayed on my wish list but didn't show that I owned them. As it is now it's not a big deal for me.
Thanks Faith. That link worked for my .com books but not for my .co..uk titles - ie the bigger list of titles! I will ring them next year :-)
Thank-you, finally something that worked. However my wish list just went from 160 to 49 books...great going on the behalf of publishers etc, I'm sure all those authors would be happy to learn (sarcasm) that there are lots of people who know about and want to pay good money to buy their books but can't.
Well I encountered this problem of purchased books sitting in my wish list. I don't use the app and do everything on my computer and there was no way to get them off. But I'm happy to say an email to Audible took care of it pretty quickly and painlessly.
That is how I solved the problem too. It has happened to me numerous times. The squeaky hinge is the one that gets fixed.
I was trying to find a Robert Heinlein book and when searching my library it did not find it until I added his middle initial. Another annoying thing is on 15+ book series the summary does not tell you what book number it is in the series.
Rebecca wrote: "Another annoying thing is on 15+ book series the summary does not tell you what book number it is in the series."I really really hate that! You have to know the title order to know which one to listen to first.

I remove the books on my wishlist by clicking on the right button (vertical 3 dots) to press on "Remove. "
I use the website to return the books permanently. Then, I go on my phone to remove the download then to download the book. The phone will show a error message. Then, I refresh the page (library). The book is removed on my phone. {Its a long process :( )
I cannot access my wishlist by my phone due to poor vision. I have to do it via the computer. The error occurs when there is no delete button. This is an error in the audible system. so I ask them to remove the book when the error occurs.

I use the website Fantastic Fiction. Type In the Author's name and you get everything they've ever written. All series are shown in the order written.
That only works for books you haven't yet purchased. It used to be that when you did purchase a book from your wish list that it disappeared automatically. Oh, and the company is Audible, the format audiobooks. I don't quite know what "audibles" is

I've been spending a LOT of time on Audible lately (last year or so, more in the last several months) and am getting more familiar with it, but I can't figure out a way to do this. Thanks! :) Cheers!
