I usually like reading lots of ya books whether they be romance, contemporary, etc. but every once in a while I read a horror or thriller to spice things up.
Sadly, I have a habit of reading like my life depends on it or not reading for several weeks. So! I'm excited to be in this group and hopefully I can stop myself from falling into that habit again and again.
When I'm not reading, I typically cry over bts or binge watch netflix :'))
Please don't hesitate on messaging me or sending a friend request!

I enjoy reading YA, fantasy, thriller, some horror, romance and well written erotica.
I'm a binge reader, I can go for months without reading due to procrastinating, but when I do read I like getting through a novel in a day, two max.
I like crafting while watching Netflix when I'm not lost in a good book.
I'm interested in finding some fellow book lovers, some new authors and new genres to fall in love with.
Feel free to add me xo

My favorite books are The Titan's Curse, House of Hades, All For the Game series, The Song of Achilles and Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe!
Looking forward to talk to you guys!

Hi Stef! We're glad to have you here :)

Hello! Welcome here!

i mostly read YA, lgbtq+, graphic novels, and magical realism books, BUT i’m trying to read more classics and poetry books, even though most of the time i don’t really understand them(english isn’t my first language so maybe that’s shy?). i’m also a big fan of greek mythology and contemporary interpretations of it. i’m always adding books to my tbr, but tbh i read more fanfics than actual books?? it’s a very serious problem. anyways, nice to meet you all! looking forward to being an official part of this group. :-)

It's nice to meet you too, kimberly!!

I also do judo and boxing so I try to stay active (sitting around reading and eating aren't a good way to stay healthy lol). I will read anything and everything but my preferences are crime thriller and dystopian.
I look forward to getting to know all of you! (I kinda need some friends).

Hi Anya! Love a bit of fantasy myself! Much more interesting than the real world lol

My name is Rania im 17 years old i live in Morocco precisely in Casablanca.
I enjoy cloudy weather especially when i can stay in my cozy bed and watch the rain fall its such a satisfying feeling . I don’t own any pets because my mom doesn’t like them. My hobbies include watching movies or tv shows rewatching the Harry Potter movies (they are my all time favorite so are the books) reading YA but i recently started reading new genres like horror and sci-fi, daydreaming, and finally looking up some new outfits( when i can afford to do so ofc XD)
I fluently speak french arabic and a little bit of spanish. I sincerely hope that with everyone’s help we will be able to tackle our TBR by overcoming procrastination and of course have a lot of fun while doing so . Its nice to meet all of you let’s get along. :)

Besides reading, I write and game, and I'm very easily distracted by trashy reality shows because I can't help myself around drama. I'm Canadian and stereotypically love hockey, which is the only sport that really interests me.
Feel free to add me or hit me up any time. c:

I’m Angie, I live in Colombia and I’m 17 years old (18 on the 25th!!)
I’ve been in love with reading since I was very young. I try to read a bit of everything but I always end up YA romance lol, and although there’s nothing wrong with that, I would love to branch out and read the many books in my TBR that are from a different genre.
I hope we all have a nice experience in this group :)

Nice to meet you all and hope I can make some new bookish friends!

Favourite genre is fantasy/sci-fi, but I'm a literary omnivore, will read almost anything as long as the synopsis catches my interest.

I enjoy reading all kinds of books, but mostly fantasy. There is no actual genre I do not like that much, because if a books seems interesting, then I will read it... if I have time.
I wanted to join this book club because I want to socialize here more and of course tackle my TBR. My dream is to have it as small as possible, so when I come across a new book I want to get into, I actually will be able to do that!
It's so nice to meet you all and I'm looking forward to reading all the books with you!

I'm Anna and I'm from the USA. I really enjoy reading, but I've been in a reading slump for a couple of years. So, I decided that it was time to get back into reading.
I mainly read YA contemporary books, but I'm trying to delve into fantasy more. I feel like it's a genre I'll like, I just haven't read a lot of books from it (save for Harry Potter and Vampire Academy and a few others).
I wanted to join this book club because I wanted to meet new people and try to learn about new books!

I joined so I could talk to people about books and just meet different readers.

I'm trying to read more epic fantasy and well-loved classics though.

I'm a uni student and I'm from Australia. There's a lot of things that I love, including reading, but there are times when I might not touch a single book for many months. But when I do start reading, I tend to burn through the books fairly fast.
I'm particularly fond of YA fantasy and science fiction :)

I'm in my last year of high school and therefore quite busy doing other things than reading - plus I'm a big procrastinator and a sucker for never-ending series like Grey's Anatomy...
I can't really tell which genre I like the best - might be contemporary romance! Lately I'm trying to get into reading classics... ;)
Hope to get to know y'all soon! Feel free to add me as a friend! :D

my name is lori. I am a 27 year old stay at home mom who loves reading (and knitting and crochet when not reading) and I honestly am just now delving into the YA genre. I don't read as much or as fast as I used to due to both having young kids and due to having epilepsy. on days when my epilepsy is bothering me, I can't look at the words because they all just run together giving me a sick feeling. but I hope to have fun and enjoy this group.

The name’s Pads, a seventeen years old from Spain. I’ve been reading as a hobby since I was eleven, and I read... a lot? But recently, school has me on edge of life and I don’t have that much spare time, sadly. To make it worse, the only books I get to read are these boring, compulsory titles for school that make me feel like reading is a painful process full of stress with one only goal: pass a test.
Anyway, I don’t give up easily and I have tons of books I want to read before school makes me lose every ounce of happiness.

My name is Alice, i'm 24 and from Denmark. I am 14 days from having finished my teachers education, I'm currently employed at a sort of boaring school. (we call it efterskole) where I teach English(second language ofc) and soon German.
I have always read ALOT, and still do, but I also like procastinating, my best example is that I have always wanted to read Tolkiens lotr series, but never got around to it untill last year, when I recived a boxset from my sister.
I'm currently procastination everything in a genre of crime/detictive/murder mystery novels. This is silly because I absolutely love Stephen king and Dean Koontz books, but never get around to read other autors, fearing it will be a bland reading experience.
Currently I am reading only in Danish and that is rather fun though, cause I'm always reading multiple stories at a time, but many are usually in English.

I'm Lys, I'm 26 and from France. I've always loved to read but these past few years I didn't have much time to allocate to reading. So now there are so many books that I want to read and my TBR will probably never end :D.
My preferred genres are Fantasy, Thriller/Mystery, YA but I'm open to suggestions and I love to get out of my comfort zone and try new things.
When I was younger I read in French but right now I seem to be reading only in English and I'm loving it (though I still read sometimes in French).
This group is literally made for me haha because I'm always telling myself I want to read that series that everyone is talking about and then... I read 5 or 10 years later :D. I'm hoping that I can join and take down some of the books from my TBR with you guys!
Hey!
I'm Claudia. 😂 I'm 27, I think, and I'm Cuban. I hate YA and I don't usually read fantasy or sci-fi. I prefer historical romance (preferably stories which take place during the World War) or just romance. Yeah, too cheesy, I know. (some angst is well received, too) 😂
I'm looking forward to getting to know you and enjoy this group!

I mostly read YA and Fantasy, but recently having been giving more contemporaries a chance, and have been really enjoying them! My favourite authors consist of Cassandra Clare, Seanan McGuire and Rick Riordan!
I would really love to see more YA fantasy with LGBTQ+ rep; which is what I hope to do with my own writing!
I’m hoping to read more good fantasy this year, and just start emptying out my TBR!
It’ll be lovely to meet and get to know you all!

I used to read a lot of books a year (usually around the 150-200), but recently it's starting to become a lot less and I'm fearing the worst this year! I'm trying to keep up with my reading though, so hopefully joining a group like this might help:)
I hope everyone is having a nice day!

My go to genres to read are fantasy, paranormal, contemporary and urban fantasy. Lately I've been in the mood for diversity/LGBTQ+ type books. I also want to tackle a lot of fantasy I've accumulated like Children of Blood and Bone, Lady Midnight, Fury Born, etc.
Hope to hear from you and participate in some buddy reads!

My name is Steph and I am 30 from NJ. I read a lot of YA, The Classics, and Historical Fiction.
In addition to reading, I am a writer and I sing. I performed when I was younger, and I still love and I help out with local theater.
I don't read a ton of Fantasy, but I have really come to grown the genre.

I used to read so much as a child, which slowed down to 2 to 3 books I had to read for school, so I'm hoping to get back on track. More than the quantity, I feel like I lost a lot of enjoyment that I got from reading, I used to devour books with such ease.
So my goals would be to pick up books that make me happy (which translates to dnf-ing more), and to read more in English.
Nice to meet you all :)

I read mostly YA Fantasy and Contemporary, though I try not to stick to one genre too much, and also enjoy diverse books.
Hoping to get to know y'all!
