message 4: by Mew or Fox (new)

Mew or Fox (meworfox) | 122 comments Oh! I am terribly sorry, I didn’t realize that was discussed. I should have asked for clarification before creating my character. I’ll switch him out for someone else.

message 5: by Mew or Fox (new)

Mew or Fox (meworfox) | 122 comments There we go. I guess this shows how much I have been paying attention lol.

message 6: by Mew or Fox (new)

Mew or Fox (meworfox) | 122 comments If we are ready to begin, then I would appreciate if you did. You seem to have a better grasp on the scene than I.

message 7: by Mew or Fox (new)

Mew or Fox (meworfox) | 122 comments "Well that is it for now everyone, I still need to get ready for Ali's birthday tonight, and to be honest I still need to find that damn place. As always, Good morning, Good day, and Good night. And remember, Karma always comes back around~"" The young blonde winked and gave the camera a winning smile before shutting it down. Karma let out sigh and stretched, sitting in the same position for so long was really leaving a kink in her back. But it was worth it, making these videos were one of her favorite hobbies.

Now onto the next task. The College student felt like she was always off to one thing or another, but she preferred life that way. Downtime never really interested her all that much. So as she changed into a some tight jeans and a shiny crop top, she looked up directions on her phone. The name hadn't been anyone she recognized, but it always some bar or club. Ali was lucky enough to be turning 21. God things would be easier when she wasn't having to use a fake ID. Well it wasn't exactly a fake ID, she had stolen her older sister's ID about six months ago. It was completely real and even had the benefit of the photo actually resembling her.

After Karma had done up her hair and make up in a fashion to make her appear a bit more like her sister she, ordered up an uber to get her to the bar. No point driving herself when she doubted she would be able to drive herself home. 25 minutes later she was paying the annoyingly high fare and heading inside. The place wasn't at all what she had expected the birthday girl to choose, in fact it was quite the opposite, there wasn't a single strobe light. Not that the blonde minded, the atmosphere was good for socializing and that could just as fun as dancing.

Green eyes scanned around the bar and the tables but no sign of her friends yet. She knew that she couldn't be early, but it was more likely that the rest were late, probably because Ali had gotten distracted hooking up with her boyfriend. The thought got Karma to chuckle a bit as headed for the bar. If she had to wait she might as well have a drink.

message 8: by Mew or Fox (new)

Mew or Fox (meworfox) | 122 comments Karma had just been in the process of deciding what she wanted to start off with that night, when her ears perked up as someone seemed to be referring to her. It was easy to catch who had said it and she couldn't stop the smile that came to her lips to mirror his. The blonde was by no means shy, and half the time it was her starting off with a line like that, but she was happy to accept the offer from someone like him. "My how generous. Be careful or you might end up paying for a lot than you thought tonight."

She only ordered a Blue moon, not bothering to follow through on her threat to order something top shelf. Shots would be for the birthday girl. Exchanging the drink for a couple of dollars as a tip, Karma took it with her over to the generous stranger, "Most people like to wait and see what the order is before making an offer like that."

message 9: by Mew or Fox (new)

Mew or Fox (meworfox) | 122 comments Well wasn't he the confident one. Karma definitely confidence. The timid ones were sweet for a time, but as much as excluded her own level of confidence, it was nice to be challenged. She caught the wandering stare and the almost over the top complement. This kind of swagger didn't match the stranger's appearance, she had expected a bit more dismissive narcissism. Then again that budget comment did fall into that category.

Either way he seemed at least interested in talking, so it would be a nice way to spend her time waiting for the rest to arrive. She took a sip from her beer and then gave a small shrug, "At least 50% of this bar and probably another 5% that are gay. So do you always offer no limit drinks to pretty girls or do you only do it on special occasions?"

message 10: by Mew or Fox (new)

Mew or Fox (meworfox) | 122 comments (Sorry if this is a bother, but are you still interested in continuting this plot line? I understand if you are not or just haven't had time to response, and it is fine if you have moved on)

message 11: by Mew or Fox (new)

Mew or Fox (meworfox) | 122 comments (Ah I totally get that. Take as much time as you need. I don’t normally send reminders, so sorry if that was jumping the gun. If you decide to discontinue this one, I am fine with discussing other plots)

message 12: by Mew or Fox (new)

Mew or Fox (meworfox) | 122 comments (Don’t worry about going dark, I have a habit of doing that too. I always have some ideas somewhere, though most of mine are fantasy/action compared to the drama/romance of this one. So if you prefer to stay on that side of plots I would be happy to hear your ideas.)

message 13: by Mew or Fox (new)

Mew or Fox (meworfox) | 122 comments (Hmmm that is quite interesting dynamic. I would be able to work with that certainly. Did you have a preference on characters?)

message 14: by Asylumm (new)

Asylumm | 74 comments No i can play either character.

message 15: by Mew or Fox (new)

Mew or Fox (meworfox) | 122 comments (Well I think I would like to try my hand at muse B and C. I like the idea of playing siblings. Now before I make the same mistake as last time, did you have genders in mind for the characters?)

message 16: by Asylumm (new)

Asylumm | 74 comments -- Either FxF or MxF --

message 17: by Mew or Fox (new)

Mew or Fox (meworfox) | 122 comments (OK I know we are talking about this idea for the revenge drama but I just saw your Alice and wonderland prompt and I am super in love with all Alice and wonderland stories. If you would rather go with the one you already mentioned that's fine, I just thought I might ask about that one.)

message 18: by Asylumm (last edited Sep 30, 2018 03:15PM) (new)

Asylumm | 74 comments -- Oh i love all the alice in wonderlands too =) so yess of course, i have had that idea for years never thought anyone would be into =D --

message 19: by Mew or Fox (new)

Mew or Fox (meworfox) | 122 comments (I would be so excited to do one then. I am very into that one you prompted on the request board and could work with it, unless you already have someone lined up for that one.)

message 20: by Mew or Fox (new)

Mew or Fox (meworfox) | 122 comments (As long you are ok doing it twice, I know I sometimes struggle when I have the same plot going in tandem. But I really excited to try this. Would this be a modern setting or something more historical?)

message 21: by Mew or Fox (new)

Mew or Fox (meworfox) | 122 comments (Ah that’s fair then. And that’s fine with me, gives everything a bid more whimsical feel. How would you like to do the character breakdown?)

message 22: by Mew or Fox (new)

Mew or Fox (meworfox) | 122 comments (Sorry to repeat a question, but how were you thinking of the character break down? Obviously there is an 'Alice', a 'Queen of hearts', a 'Joker', a 'White Rabbit', a 'Hatter', a 'Dormouse', and a 'Lizard' character. Are there more you had in mind and which ones did you need covered?)

message 23: by Mew or Fox (new)

Mew or Fox (meworfox) | 122 comments (Sounds good to me, I was just going based on what I read in your prompt. Would you rather place Alice or the White Rabbit?)

message 24: by Mew or Fox (new)

Mew or Fox (meworfox) | 122 comments (No worries~ White rabbit is just fine, and since this your plot idea we should use that one. My personal favorite character is Cheshire but I am happy as long as he is in the story. Since you have a stronger grasp on the plot, I would be more comfortable playing Alice. But if you didn't want to play a male character we could do a gender swap or make it FxF)

message 25: by Mew or Fox (new)

Mew or Fox (meworfox) | 122 comments (lols Okay then! I might have some more pop up later, but in the mean time want me to make another character post like before?)

message 29: by Mew or Fox (new)

Mew or Fox (meworfox) | 122 comments (Real quick sorry, But is the setting in wonderland or reality? It doesn't matter which one I just wanted to make sure I didn't assume wrong)

message 30: by Mew or Fox (new)

Mew or Fox (meworfox) | 122 comments (Ah alright glad I asked because I assumed wrong. I can work on an opener here in a bit)

message 31: by Mew or Fox (new)

Mew or Fox (meworfox) | 122 comments The first thing that was comprehensible when Alex came around was that the air smelled sweet. Not sugary like in a bakery or a candy shop, no this was floral, and perfume like. It almost made her sneeze. Then things came into focus and the strong scent was all but forgotten. She couldn't recognize a single thing around her. Just where the hell was she?

She had gone to bed kinda late but she often lost track of time when working on a mission in her favorite games, so nothing strange nothing strange there. Was she dreaming then? Did that mean she was aware she was dreaming? All these dizzying thoughts raced through her mind in the time it took her to notice that she wasn't alone. Letting out a half gasp, half squeal, Alex leap backward at the sight of strange beings before her. " What's going on?" Not the most eloquent way to start but she couldn't be choosy right now.

message 32: by Asylumm (new)

Asylumm | 74 comments "Of course she doesn't know." Said the white rabbit, he was stood leaned against a tree. "I thought you said the red queen spoke to her already." he added as he glanced up the tree. Which was were Cheshire sat, his tail wrapped around the branch. He shrugged his shoulders before he spoke. "That's what she said." he said. "You are such an idiot.." the mad hatter with a wide smile. "Aww.. Now whats that called for."Cheshire replied. Dormouse walked up beside the mad hatter playing with his whiskers. He was the silent type never said much. " Lets move this along.. I have better things to do." said the white rabbit as he glanced at his pocket watch. Cheshire rolled his eyes at the other men, he jumped down from the tree. Without a stretch on him. Cats always land on there feet after all. "Excuse these pigs.." he said with a wave of his hand as he walked over to the blonde girl. "Your... Alex.. Right?" he asked, giving a welcoming smile. His right ear pointing up slightly, waiting for to answer.

message 33: by Mew or Fox (new)

Mew or Fox (meworfox) | 122 comments Oh boy... there were at least four strangers before her. Very strange strangers. Were they in costume for something? Maybe some kinda show. 'Stop that!' Alex chided herself as he mind wandered as the men bickered. She wasn't one to panic, but her hands were starting to shake slightly as they clearly knew something about her being there.

At mention of the a queen there was a faint tickle of a memory but she couldn't quite grasp it. She wasn't given time to dwell on that matter though as one of them suddenly broke off from the bickering and drew closer. The man had a punk look about him, with all the piercing and colored hair. The ears were a weird accessory for a punk, but then again not the thing to focus on. Except it was when one of the ears moved, on it's own.

Alex stared for a long second before her brain processed the fact that this colorful man had known her name. All strangeness aside, that was far more concerning. Slowly she nodded and her blue gaze narrowed in suspicion. "How is it you know that? For that matter who are you anyway?"

message 34: by Asylumm (new)

Asylumm | 74 comments "Oh how rude of me.. I am Cheshire." He said. He noticed that she stared at his ears but didn't wanted to bring it up. "Lets get this going.. pick already." The white rabbit said as he lifted iff the tree. "Stop worrying about time so much.. You know not to rush a lady into making choose like this." Cheshire said glancing back at the white rabbit with a glare.
Mad hatter chuckled at the two who glanced seemed to find some way to bump heads. "I am the Hatter.." he said as lifted up his tall hat. "This dormouse." He added as stepped slightly so she could get a better view. "And this white ball of fur.. its rabbit." Cheshire said as he pointed behind him without looking back.

~Sorry, its short. I am on my phone at the moment

message 35: by Mew or Fox (new)

Mew or Fox (meworfox) | 122 comments (No worries about length of a post you are providing plenty to work with)

Alex forced a long steadying breath in her nose and out through her mouth. There was a lot going on but most of it was superficial, as superficial as moving cat ears could be. The bigger problem was clearly these men here had some kinda expectation of her. Expectation of what she had no idea, but she doubted it was to share some mint chocolate ice cream with them.

She delayed her response for a moment longer than normal as she took in the four men upon each introduction. It was pretty obvious that she wasn't going to like this one called Rabbit. He seemed to have a stick shoved somewhere that she wanted no part of. Dormouse, seemed ready to take a nap rather than say anything. And that Hatter, well there was just something about him that set her teeth on edge.

So that left the one before her, who had introduced himself as Cheshire. He seemed polite enough and now that she was managing the initial shock factor, Alex noticed how he seemed completely relaxed, as if this was a normal affair. With her thoughts collected she focused now on the new bit of information, " I'm sorry but what choice are you talking about? Also you didn't say how you knew my name."

message 36: by Asylumm (new)

Asylumm | 74 comments Cheshire frowned slightly he first thought she was playing to not know what was going on. But he could see from her eyes that she was not playing at all. She really didn't know. Mmm.. Interesting he thought to himself, he sighed and his happy grin faded. "Yes.. we all know who you are." he said with a mention with his tail, that made a circle in the air. The piercing he had on the tip of his tail made a light click sound as his tail moved for that quick second. "You have to pick from us that you see here, to fall in love with." he said as he turned his back toward the little blonde and started walking back to the tree. "It is really quiet simple.. if you ask me." he added as he jumped back into the tree. "No it isn't.." said Dormouse as he glanced up at Cheshire before looking down. Cheshire glared down at the little man, his grin appeared but this one was different from the smile he gave to Alex. "The little mousy wants to play?" he asked, his tail waved back and forth. "Enough.." said the Hatter as his eyes glared at Cheshire. The Hatter and the Dormouse had a weird bond, which was the only thing Cheshire and Rabbit could agree on. Rabbit glanced at the Hatter and chuckled, his eyes locked onto his clock from a moment before he looked like back up at Alex. He shook his head as he started to walk closer to her, he swung his pocket watch as he did so. "Rabbit?" said Cheshire with a raised eyebrow. His body ready for anything that the idiot rabbit would try to pull. "Don't your tail in a knot.. I am not going to hurt her.." he said as he stopped walking only leaving inches in between them. His long ears flopped on each side of his head. "Well.. what's it going to be.. Miss Alex." she said with a raised eyebrow. "Some of us have better things to do then waste it here.. staring at you while you take your time deciding." he said calmly.

message 37: by Mew or Fox (new)

Mew or Fox (meworfox) | 122 comments With all of that, still she wasn't getting a straight answer. Though really what could she expect. At the causal answer of falling in love, Alex spluttered and her face started to burn. They really were insane! But again that faint tickle of a memory brushed along her neck. "Rebuild a heart..." The words slipped out before she had any idea where they had even come from. The idea made no more since than the man with cat ears and a tail that just leapt into a tree.

Her analyze was distracted again when Rabbit took Cheshire's place before. Subconsciously she stepped away once he got inside her imaginary bubble. Combining the warning tone in the punk's voice and the fact that the man had to clarify that he wasn't going to hurt her, left her a little one edge.

Heart rate spiking again as she raced to formulate a response," Well then Mr. Rabbit. I'll try to make your life easier than you are making mine. You can leave whenever you please. Because even if I did believe these shenanigans about making a choose, it wouldn't be you." Ok that might have been a little harsh, especially since Alex was normally a very sweet girl. But she hated being cornered, both physically and in conversation. This guy had managed to press both of those buttons at once.

message 38: by Asylumm (new)

Asylumm | 74 comments A girl who could speak her mind Cheshire thought with a smirk, he watched the Rabbit from his tree. "Pft.. Well that's the best answer i have heard all day... See you guys later." The rabbit said as he walked off waving. "Aww come on.. Rabbit, stay enjoin the game with us." Cheshire said before he basted out in laughter, he rolled on his back and as he held his stomach. "It's only three more.." said Dormouse, he glanced at Hatter. Who nodded, Cheshire continued laughing, until he felt the Hatter's eyes on him. He glanced at the man, and turned on his stomach and waved in a 'girly' manner. He didn't care if was picked or not, was still going to act the same. Getting on everyone's nervous and loving every second of it. The Hatter shook his head at the weird cat in the tree. Hatter glanced over Alex and took his hat off his head once again, he held it to his chest as he begun to speak. "The Red queen brought you here to rebuild the heart you broke.. And we are the ones she has picked for you." The Hatter said, his hair was all over the place, it wasn't a piece on him that was put together. The Dormouse looked more 'clean' than he did. "Yup. it sucks but it is what you have to do Alex." Cheshire asked with a shrug as he was still on his stomach, but this time he was laying fully down, his tail wrapped around the branch. His arm was just hanging off the branch.

message 39: by Mew or Fox (new)

Mew or Fox (meworfox) | 122 comments Well At least she had been right about sending him on his way. Feeling slightly encouraged by the fact that Rabbit left so easily, Alex started to glance around, looking for a way out of this situation all together. Against all rational judgement her attention was brought back swiftly at the mention of a game. It was like a trigger word for her. But She wasn't sure if she like the context of this one, not when it was followed by a laugh like that. Initially she had some interest in Cheshire by the way he had spoken to her, now she was thinking that he was making fun of her.

Doing her best to ignore the laughing cat, the young blonde focused on the strange disheveled man. He seemed nice enough, but something still seemed rather off about him. "Ok then... let me try to follow this. I remember accidentally breaking a toy in a shop on 12st street, but there is no way that could be connected to this heart you are talking about. It was just a plastic toy, else it wouldn't have broken like that." Even as she said this, her subconscious dredged up more of the dream of the courtroom. No it hadn't been a dream, or at least it was real as any of this moment was.

Alex glanced around the 3 remaining men, "Wait, she picked you to be here? So you don't have a choice in this either?" It was a bit of a side track of the main problem, but the part of her that understood what was happening felt pity for these men that were forced into this because of her mistake.

message 40: by Asylumm (new)

Asylumm | 74 comments "Yeah, she told us that it was either this or well.. you know.." Cheshire said as he made his thumb run passed his throat. He stuck out his tongue and closed his eyes. "And i don't think i would look handsome without out a head." he added, Cheshire flipped over onto his back. He had to admit, he thought she was would have picked faster. She was pretty and all but he hoped she wont pick him, since he didn't fall for this girl. It would be the end of him and her, he sighed at the thought of all that praiser. No, thank you. he thought to himself, he glanced over at Alex. Hatter was more for her anyway, he was weird but he knew how to treat people since he was more human than anyone else in this crazy word. "Like the cat said.. We would have had our heads chopped of if we said no. It was the reason Rabbit was to being s- "Don't lie to that girl.. He is always a complete asshole." Cheshire cut the Hatter off with a smirk. The Hatter sighed and shook his head not even bothering to look back at the cat. "We understand that this is hard to understand but.. We need to know so the ones you don't pick.. can g- "Go on with their none important life." Cheshire said cutting the Hatter off again. "Wont you just stupid for to seconds." the Hatter finally said as he glanced back at the cat. Cheshire shrugged his shoulder. "That depends.. do you have some candy?" he asked, The Hatter rolled his eyes and glanced back at Alex. "So what will it be?" he asked.

message 41: by Mew or Fox (new)

Mew or Fox (meworfox) | 122 comments How it had come to this, she would never understand. Even if she accepted this task from the red queen as fact then that meant she needed to get out of here and start finding her way home. Insane and fantastical elements aside if she could get home then she could report this threat of murder. Of course then promptly get through into a hospital. Well at least that would be more recognizable and reasonable than here. First thing she needed to get these men off her back and the only method of that would be play along with this choosing game.

Alex had already solved one of the issues by getting Rabbit to go on his way, this left a rather obvious choice of the remaining three. She needed someone that had less interest in whole ordeal than her, which ruled out Hatter. He seemed a little too curious and helpful. Not to mention she guessed he would be completely unpredictable. Dormouse was also out of the question. She hadn't seen enough from him yet to gauge how to handle him, so it would be safest to go with what she had the most information on.

It kinda felt like one of those strategy rpg games where you have to pick your teammates based on which battle was coming up. Alex shook off the distracting game thoughts and then pointed up into the tree where Cheshire was lounging, "Well if I don't have a choice in the matter then I choose him." Even though she kept her chin up and her back straight, her hand as well as her voice trembled just a bit.

message 42: by Asylumm (last edited Oct 03, 2018 05:05PM) (new)

Asylumm | 74 comments Hatter's eyes widened as she pointed passed him. But then he basted out in a crazy laugh as he put his hat back on top of his head. "Well i be damned.. Looks like you win Cheshire." He said, as he walked over to Dormouse, he patted the man's shoulder as he walked off. Dormouse stood in silence staring at Alex for a second before he went following Hatter. Cheshire didn't have a reaction, he sighed and closed his eyes for a short second before he nodded and opened them again. "Okay, well i guess that's that." he said, he sat up and glanced around like he expected someone to pop out of nowhere before he jumped off that tree. He whipped his shirt and shorts, his tail danced in the air for a second. When he stood up straight his tail dropped. "Well.. let's go.." he said as mentioned for Alex to fall him, he started walking down a path that leads to his house. "Don't worry... i am not so into this as such as the others was.. That could be a problem for you now.." he said as he shrugged his shoulders.

message 43: by Mew or Fox (new)

Mew or Fox (meworfox) | 122 comments Yep the laugh confirmed Alex's certainty in her choice. Not because she trusted Cheshire anymore because of it, but because it cemented her thoughts on the fact there wasn't something quite right with Hatter. The look that Dormouse gave her right before he joined his friend left her feeling guilty for some reason, but then again his sleepy expression was impossible to read.

Once they were gone her full attention came to rest on the feline man as he hopped back to the ground. For a brief moment she considered not following but quickly decided that would be a far worse idea that to follow the stranger. She scampered to fall into step along side of Cheshire, taking in her surroundings, committing as much detail to memory as possible, just in case she had to find her way back. "A problem? No actually I think it will be a benefit. To be honest it was the reason why I choose you. The others seemed rather overwhelming and thus would be a distraction."

Alex had little qualms about her analytical choice or explanation, though she really did hope that she hadn't put this man's life at risk. The guilt would surely kill her.
